BEWARE OF THIS NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY
Terrible company! I was in the ICU for over 3 months. There was a dollar charge that was not mine that was on my Apple Card. I hadn’t used the card in months, so I had no reason to log in to check my balances, plus I obviously couldn’t, because I was fighting just to stay alive. Goldman Sachs marked late payments on my credit report. I explained the situation and told them that the dollar charge was not mine. They said they would dispute it. Months went by and nothing was ever fixed. I called many many times trying to resolve this situation and they told me that there was nothing that they could do.I finally had to file for Identity Theft through the CFPB and report it to the credit bureau’s to force Goldman Sachs to resolve it. They damaged my credit for about 8 months. In this time, my lease was up on my car, and since GS had messed up my credit, I had to pay higher interest rates. What really bothers me is that I sent in all of my medical documentation also, trying to explain why I didn’t catch it sooner. There were thousands of pages. They didn’t care that I almost died many times. Getting their dollar from me was more important. There was zero sympathy, compassion or understanding. I’d been a perfect customer of theirs for many years, paid them thousands of dollars in interest, never had a single late payment, but they put me through all of this for $1 actually .99cents. Pretty pathetic. I closed down my 2 personal GM credit Cards, my GM Business credit card, as well as my Apple Card. They made a really bad decision and they paid for it. I will never do business with them again, and will continue sharing my story to save someone else from going through this horror! BEWARE!!!
