My disappointment with Malaysia…
My disappointment with Malaysia Airlines is not primarily about the schedule change itself. Flight changes happen. The real issue is that there appeared to be no effort whatsoever to find a reasonable alternative. The replacement itinerary offered was significantly worse than the one we originally booked, adding unnecessary inconvenience to our journey. What I find most surprising is that I was able to identify several alternative flight options myself within minutes, yet Malaysia Airlines never presented any meaningful alternatives or showed any willingness to make the trip easier for us. Instead of actively helping affected passengers, the response felt limited to presenting a single poor option and expecting customers to accept it. There was no flexibility, no creativity and no indication that anyone had actually looked for a better solution. Good customer service is not about preventing every disruption. It is about making a genuine effort to help when disruptions occur. Unfortunately, that effort was completely absent in our case. I expected far better from a full-service international airline.
