I bid on five items in one all five and then as I told my wife that I only spent $30 I looked at my bank account and found that it was more like 50 something because they charged me $3 per item as a lot fee then they turned around and charged me a percentage on top of each item of what I won based on the bid that I wanted on and then taxes on top of that so my $1 bid became $6 and my $15 bid became $25 it's not what you're getting and it's sickening to think that that's how they're screwing us over is the little writing and taking the money that you're not noticing. I know that the s*** that they sell is returns and garbage and can be fixed there can't be fixed then it's a crapshoot I understand that I'm not mad about that That's something you take a risk on what I'm pissed about is the fact that they took extra money off me not happy about that and will not shop with them ever again

These people are scammers!!! They advertised a gas fireplace it was only the mantel not the fireplace like they posted. Yes I did fully read there description before bidding clearly states complete fireplace. Will be reporting them to BBB. So sad the kind of business that they are running.

I bought $267 worth of junk. 9 items an nothing worked. Example I bought a knife set and it was just the block for the knives, not one included. Description said open box. All auction companies have a bidder premium but this company tacked on $30 for a lot fee. People save you money time and frustration stay away from this place.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I HAVE PURCHASED 3 THINGS THIS WEEK THAT WERE ACTUALLY DAMAGED BEYOND USE. IT'S NOT WORTH THE $7 TO INSURE THESE ITEMS. 1) An ALL-Clad pan that was 'open box' was actually burnt beyond use. 2) Outside heater cover - had 3 slits in the top - unusable. 3) Outside deck box - that I paid $60 for was a cheap flimsy 'snap together' play toy. I called and they basically said to read their 'fine print'. Not worth what they're selling.

Most of the stuff sold here is damaged goods (or mislabeled). My wife has bought several things from here that were listed as "open box", virtually all of them were obviously damaged in some way or another. Possibly half of the stuff was salvageable... but some was obviously bought by someone who stole key components out of the box, and then returned it as though they merely peeked inside. One such item was a Bear "G3 Cruzer" compound bow my wife won... when I opened the box, it was very clearly a Bear Legit compound bow - it says it RIGHT ON THE LIMBS! (plus the strings were all blown off it as though someone dry-fired it)... luckily I didn't care and was able to quickly test/repair it, so we didn't use the Buyer Assurance... but had the riser been damaged, it would have cost more to repair than merely buying a brand new bow, and would have been $15 down the drain. Honestly, it should be criminal to sell "open box" items (that you can't return) which aren't even what you claim they are or disclosing OBVIOUS damage. I wouldn't be shocked if they tried to sell an empty box to some people as many of the pictures of the "item" are nothing but the cardboard box. Honestly, how hard is it to just open the product and take a picture of ALL the contents??

Macbid sells some perfect products but they also sell complete garbage. I've purchased a new broken tv stand that went in dumpster but I'm most upset about a Makita drill and a floor jack. Both were very used and completely non-functional. The Jack was obviously crushed by a fallen weight (probably car). I did not get the insurance offered prior to bidding and the manager at the MacBid store would not help me. Obviously had I gotten the insurance I would have been refunded or had I inspected them prior (zero time for that) I would have been good. It's on Me! But, no matter what the contract says they should not be allowed to sell complete dysfunctional garbage. There is no quality control! I thought about filing with local magistrate but I would lose due to Macbid's contract. I just want the public to know of the risks! Get the insurance or inspect prior. They have no sympathy for you if you don't! JP

Well I just want to give a big shout out to Megan she did her big one I'm a young mother of two beautiful and and she helped me pack my buggy and I am so grateful for her she's awesome if you need help or anything just ask her she will help you I love them shop to you drop 😆😆

I was very disappointed in my 1st experience with Mac.bid auctions. I "Won" 14 items totaling with fees & taxes $1850. I have purchased from other online actions many times, and rarely had a problem. The Mac.bid items were all marked as "Open Box". 11 of the 14 items were visibly damaged and should have had this obvious damage disclosed. 1 was missing the 40V battery that was listed as included. 1 was the same listed brand but not the item pictured & described, was also visibly damaged. A Kraus Forteza Double Bowl Granite Kitchen Sink was broken into 8 to 10 pieces rattling around inside the box. Rheem Water Heater was missing the front knob and had paint spray all over the bottom half.CHANFOK Smart Ceiling Fan had burn marks/melted areas. Only item I consider a "deal" is Sony 75 Inch Smart TV which works fine but was missing the legs.
