Ordered a kit, changing a color to "Iris" described as "dusty purple." The yarn color Iris does not even imply purple - it's a pure grey. . . . . . Would think if called Iris and described as dusty purple it would have some purple hue in it - but no. I asked for a refund to ship the kit back since the color was NOT as described at all - e-mailed "Claire" who refused, and when asked to reconsider, never responded at all. By the way, try to find the phone number on their web site - it is hidden only to be found when jumping through numerous hoops - it is 877-412-9772. TERRIBLE customer service - last order to Lion Brand - will stick with Amazon, Walmart and others if I need Lion yarn. Buyer beware of the web Lion Brand yarn orders. . . . .

Very poor ability to download the pattern. Was not told ahead of time it was a down load! The size of the words was not adjustable. For someone with poor visibility it is awful. Very poor of the co to not tell the buyers it is a download! I wouldn’t have bought it if it stated only for download.

Shipped quickly and the yarn is great! Just what I needed for a blanket for my son.

First of all, I have been making prayer shawls using 2 skeins of Homespun for the past 20 years. I was so disappointed that you have changed the yarn that used to be so soft and now is hard and shiny and slick. But I will maybe continue to order this because of the striping. Also so really disappointed that the 4 skeins that I ordered (2 of each) did not have matching lot #s.

I ordered everything color of the yarn but in wrong size. Returned the yarn for smaller size, was notified of cost difference but nothing since; no package, no word….

I placed an order on January 1. I received a package that was not what I had ordered on January 15, so I reached out to the company. On January 19 they replied, asking if I wanted a refund or a reshipment. I requested a reshipment. I heard nothing back. I sent the request again on February 3. Still no response from them. Finally I requested on February 23 to receive a refund. It is February 28, and I don't think I'm actually going to hear from them - either to receive the items I ordered or to be refunded my $60. I like some of their products, but I will never buy through their website again.

If you like Lion Brand yarn? DO NOT order it directly from them!! Use another vendor like Crochet.com, Love Crafts or Mary Maxim. I am STILL waiting for a kit I ordered at the end of January, and it’s almost March! One of the times I followed up, customer service email said “oh it’s on its way to you!” They did provide a tracking number, but when I checked the number it showed that the label was only *created*, NOT shipped! The kit finally left their facility a week later. PO says it’s due today but at 8pm it’s still not on the delivery truck and doesn’t even appear to be in my STATE yet. Never again will I order from them! Ughhh

Yarn was not even pulled for 2 whole weeks, until after I called and left msg. A few of the yarn skeins are stiff, not soft at all. A couple are good. Very disappointed in this order!
