I have purchased a number of skeins of Hue + Me for a large project knitting slippers. I have used this yarn for 20 pairs. It washes and drys well and has been durable. The hand took a bit of adjustment at first but has been a great choice. The color palette is what attracted me and I appreciate how well all the hues work together.

I love the 24/7 cotton, buying it direct rather than from Amazon or Uk stores reduces the cost significantly even with shipping so it takes as long as it takes, I’ve learned now not to expect it quickly so I wouldn’t order anything that was urgent, but overall for me it’s worth the wait

I like the thick wool ease yarn for making blankets and even scarves. Lion Brand website has a large variety of sizes, colors and even yarn for baby projects. What I didn't like is having to pay for the free return service. That should be standard especially if there's an issue with the product or with shipping. Regarding shipping, it was awful! I placed the order on September 7th and received my products on September 22nd. The shipping was bare basic and I would expect more from a company like Lion Brand Yarn. If I want yarn quickly I'll go to Hobby Lobby, Walmart or Michael's to see what Lion Brand varieties they offer. If I don't care when the product arrives then I'll order through Lion Brand Yarn's website. Overall three stars, which is average because getting a product two weeks later in 2025 is average. It is not five star. One extra star for wonderful colors and yarn selection.

Blanket pattern is easy, though I have not made stars yet. The kit came with plenty of yarn to make 12 rows instead of 10 in each color. Yarn in the kit is called Basic Stitch. It is heavier than I expected or wanted, but soft. If I make this blanket again I will use a softer and lighter yarn.

i couldnot access the 'free' pattern -- something in the site was 'wonky' when they finally sent me one, i had already ordered the yarn, find it a bit too un giving... hard to manage, but the company finally did send me the pattern and i believe fixed the site

I love being able to customize kits. But it would be helpful to have the yarn to be used for a pattern also show up as a preview picture. Having to pick colorways from a tiny circle of color is not easy. And misleading (as I discovered by looking at the yarn's own page.) Also, it would be *extremely* helpful to have knit and crocheted swatches of each color depicted to see how they work up.

The yarn is beautiful, easy to knit with and the colours are stunning - I am hooked on Elm. I have already knitted 3 garments and a hat with it and am ready for more. It is pilling just a tiny bit and I have not experienced any splitting of the yarn while knitting with it. However, the yarn seems to very easily snag on zippers, jewelry etc.

Order processed in a timely fashion. Everything arrived safely and as ordered (Delivery from the US to Canada took twice as long as a delivery of another order Ordered the same day from Denmark.)
