After having several issues with customer service, my Lingo account disappeared today. I have to log in and create another account. Because of having to do that, the sensor I applied about 4 days ago (they last for 2 weeks) is now junk and I have to open another expensive sensor and apply it. I loose about 8 days of use for that sensor. The app measurements were working a couple of hours ago and now, poof..they are gone. Don’t waste your money.

I got the 4 week subscription for the Lingo CGM, which means it comes with 2 monitors. I followed all the application steps to the T. The first monitor wouldn’t stay connected. Customer service was easy to work with and happily sent a new one free of charge. The second monitor stayed on for 8 days—started to come off during upper body, sweaty workouts. The third monitor also wouldn’t stay connected. They happily sent me another one. The 4th appeared to be working but by the 3rd day my blood glucose levels were barely moving, even after a big meal or heavy exercise. The product and the app were nice when the monitors worked. But I’d never use this product again. I had very little faith about monitors working.

The application of their biosensor is easy enough if you follow instructions. I was shocked to learn how various foods impact my blood sugar levels! The biosensor definitely helps me make better choices about my nutrition.

Device stopped working after a day.

I’ve received 3 defective units (purchased a total of 20). The issue I have had is the the needle in the applicator device seems to be broken or loose and falls out when you apply the Lingo (thus it doesn’t pierce the skin and allow the reading filament to be insured under the skin). They issued me a replacement for one of them when I contacted them. But the replacement was the 3rd instance of this same defect. It is too much hassle to ask for another replacement. I’m going to try one of the other devices on the market and see if I have better luck.

My lingo fell of at day 9! My husbands fell off on day 8. I emailed customer support and asked to have them replaced, and this was their response "We're so glad you reached out to Lingo customer support! It seems like you're experiencing something a bit unusual, as the biosensor is designed to last for 14 days. If you happen to encounter any issues with your first biosensor, please let us know so we can happily assist you in resolving the situation." Canceling now!!!!!!!!

Mine died after two days. I eventually found out that restarting the iPhone corrected the problem, but that information should have been available immediately the product stopped working. I do like the ability to add freestyle notes about my meals and that they show up on the glucose monitoring chart, but the implementation of that feature is confusing and useful only for "in the moment" evaluations. I would have preferred them to add the ability to export the graph and data with the event contents clearly marked.
