While I was reasonably happy with the data collection and ease of use of the lingo App, I have had several problems with the bio sensor. If there is a problem on a weekday the support is good but if at a weekend it isn’t. You cannot speak to a real person it’s all online which I loathe and with arthritis in my fingers it is quite a challenge for me.

It loses wifi annoying frequently. Have had a few stop before the end of two weeks. The basic functions are good, the rest are junk, fluff , basically useless . If you are looking reasonably reliable tool to measure glucose, this fine, over priced, but I’m a shareholder.

I’m 11 days in. There’s been a lot of broken contact although it appears to catch up from the “cloud” eventually - makes me suspect whether the trace is accurate. Also, the variability is low - not helpful visually. Anything from 5 to 7 pretty much looks the same; it’s a shame. Otherwise it was very helpful to confirm that my HB A1c was higher than it should be on a very low carb diet & despite a low fasting insulin. Useful to see how my body reacted to the food I ate including carbs x

Lingo helped get us better pricing but the overall management of the process was difficult.

I received a Lingo to try for free and I was interested to try the sensor. I’m not diabetic but have lost half my pancreas due to surgery so was interested to see if this had any impact of my blood sugars. The Lingo itself is easy to apply. Unfortunately the first one I tried became detached from the sticky pad within a few days. This meant the needle moved inside my arm and was very painful and the Lingo had to be removed. Customer Services were excellent & swiftly sent another. I did however put a large dressing over the second one after applying it to ensure it didn’t move just in case! There is no sterile wipe provided for application- it really should be in the box along. Interesting to see the impact of different food types, exercise etc on blood glucose, if not wholly unexpected. Interestingly for me it highlighted I was having lots of overnight hypos. Not sure I would use it long term but I found it interesting and if you are health curious have a look

Overall this is a good product for someone who would need to watch glucose levels, not sure what if any benefit I got from it to be honest, it was interesting to see how food’s effects your levels real time. The application was painless and hassle free.

Mine died after two days. I eventually found out that restarting the iPhone corrected the problem, but that information should have been available immediately the product stopped working. I do like the ability to add freestyle notes about my meals and that they show up on the glucose monitoring chart, but the implementation of that feature is confusing and useful only for "in the moment" evaluations. I would have preferred them to add the ability to export the graph and data with the event contents clearly marked.

Not happy with the lingo app. This is the second time that app stopped working. The lingo customer services DO NOT reimburse on days lost to their error. Not great Lingo!
