I have been a LifeProof customer since 2011 when I had the case for my iPhone 4 but will be moving to Catalyst now. I have owned a case for 9 iPhones since then and never had a problem being issues replacements when their cases failed. However, I reached out to them today, and was told I had to photograph the damage, photograph a piece of paper with my name and date on it, THEN take the only case I have for my 1000 iPhone X off and send it in before they would send me a replacement. Trust me, go to Catalyst. Their actually stand behind their warranty and their cases are more durable and can withstand 3X the depth of water than the LifeProof. I just recently found them otherwise I would never have purchased this LifeProof.

Great company, great customer service, but it is obvious there is product bias. With two big players in smartphones - Apple and Samsung, you would think both lines of cases would be amazing and timely in there releases. The Apple series of cases is often ready before launch, numerous design/color choices and a pretty secure fit. Samsung on the otherhand gets an ill-fitting, unresponsive case for its Galaxy S lines. The NEXT cases fit well, but preference seems to given to the Apple devices and that's unfortunate.

I literally have never dealt with a company as good as this one. The cases will break eventually but then again what doesn’t break over time. They will protect your phone really well this coming from having the NUD case on my iPhone 7 and dropping it / throwing it on a literal daily basis. You get what you pay for and they have the best warrenty claims service. The customer service actually cares about you and your orders/products and they have the kindest people on the phone with you. This is coming from someone who’s tried otter box and the other big companies but has been with lifeproof for 6 years now.

I thought it would be worth it, spending over $100 on a lifeproof S8 case . The plastic is falling apart and my volume buttons haven't worked since the day I got my phone. Literally you cannot control the volume in this stupid case. Theres nothing wrong with my phone, I take it out and it works just fine. 😡

I had my LifeProof case for eight moths now. I was outside listening to the radio on my phone in the barn and one of my horse knocked it down on the ground. (I have a cement floor in my barn) It scared that horse (which weighs over thousand pounds) and it pulled back and stepped on my phone. I thought my phone was going to be done. When I got into my hands and opened it up. My phone was fine! (No cracks, no damage done to the phone at all) My case had taken the beating. It has four cracks and two breakages. I love my LifeProof case a lot. It has saved my phone many times, but this time it saved it the most. I would like to thank the people who came up with the idea of making a case like this.

I have a Lifeproof for my iphone 7 (it’s falling apart) and my iPhone 4 s life proof case is in better shape it seems they want to make more money and use cheaper products.

Bought the $120 Lifeproof case last year when I upgraded my new phone. Had to get a replacement case 4 months into having it, due to the fact that no one could hear me with it on. I just went to the store and they pulled up my account and switched out my old case for a new one. Now nearly a year later the case is falling apart (cheap plastic parts). I dropped my phone last week and the screen shattered. I contacted Lifeproof to see if they would cover the screen replacement. They advised that the phone is not under warranty...now I'm sol and have to pay my phone deductible to have it replaced. What is the purpose of having this $120 phone case again? Waste of money in my opinion. I will NEVER buy one again and STRONGLY recommend others not wasting their money as well.
