This company is a fraud, they lie about the warranty. I purchased a case and spent $90 when the case became damaged i filed a claim by following all the things they ask, each time they came. Up with an excuse, first that they needed more pictures, then that they needed proof so I.sent a copy of the receipt, finally they said they need me to mail them the case, I replied with everything they asked, when I was asked to send the case in I replied that I would if they provide shipping with tracking so I can track it, they ignore me and not. Reply!!!!! They are a rip-off and scammers, next time I. Will purchase a unicorn beetle case it is way cheaper and they actually comply with the warranty they provide!

I had my Pixel 2 XL case for 3 weeks… plastic speaker cover peeled off
I had my Pixel 2 XL case for 3 weeks and the plastic cover over the mouth piece peeled off. (Also, pics are now blurry because it's camera lenses scratches easily) The harshest conditions it faced was being put in and out of my pocket. I can't return it to Verizon, LifeProof customer service is closed on the weekends, and they charge you $5.99 to replace their guaranteed product.
The case is nice other than that but I am not impressed with it's longevity or their customer service.

Average so far...
I have had my 'lifeproof' case on my phone for 2 weeks now and it has already broken. The spongy piece in the bottom that keeps the phone waterproof has fallen out and lost. For a £70 phone case I would not expect this to happen. However as soon as I emailed with the issue a new one was sent the same day. Only issue is im off travelling for 3 months now and if it breaks again delivery of a new one isn't an option..... fingers crossed this second one isnt faulty!

Don’t buy a life proof
Dropped my phone off my couch onto carpet and my phone shattered in a lifeproof. Pelican cases are much better. Life proof is not the case to buy

Worst Case EVER!
I can not understand anyone on the phone, can't hear my phone ring, or even my alarms because of this stupid case! Had the case since day one and thought the problem was with the phone until someone told me to try taking the case off! Never had this problem with my old phone and the OtterBox defender case I had on it so that's what I'm going out to get for this phone. Wouldn't recommend this case to anyone!!

The rubber casing on the case breaks off this phone case is the absolute worst 100% don’t recommend. I’ve only had it for a year and it’s driving me crazy

WASTE OF MONEY
I dropped $80 on this case. It's a piece of crap. Not even a full month went by and the plastic that covered the speaker pealed up and fell off. I didn't realize I had to register it within 14 days and I am sure the life proof company was counting on that. I will be sure to let everyone know about these cases and how they are a waste of money.

Quality is declining, but still a good shock-proof case.
I’ve been using Lifeproof cases for around two years. I bought my first one when I was planning a vacation and wanted to take underwater pictures. I’d always used Otterbox cases to protect my phone from shock previously.
The first Lifeproof case, I bought in store. You have to water test it at home (absolute MUST!) when you buy one, and the first one I bought leaked. I tried to return it in store, and they said I have to return it online. When you try to return or exchange a Lifeproof case, they ask you to pay a $5 shipping & handling fee. I got my new case, went on my trip, and all was well. About a year later, I had to buy a new case because I got a new phone, and bought Lifeproof again. Within a month or two of buying it, the case started falling apart - the rubber exterior started falling off and ripping, buttons fell off, the plastic case chipped, and it started leaking, mostly around the camera lens when I washed my phone or took it in the steamy shower to listen to music (so it wasn’t even being submerged... just rinsed off). The case has a one year warrantee, so I paid the $5 fee and got a new case. At first, they sent me the wrong type of case (Nüüd for the iPhone 6c instead of Frē for the iPhone 6s), so I had to order a new one again, and just gave the wrong one to my sister who had the 6c. The new-new case leaked badly when I water tested it - and I mean, it was FULL of water after being submerged just a couple minutes. Being that I had just paid the $5 fee twice, I emailed customer support and asked to get a new case without paying the fee. They obliged, but specified this would be a one time thing. That was just a couple months ago, and my case is falling apart again. The rubber exterior is already falling off and I wouldn’t trust it to get my phone wet anymore.
I don’t know what has changed, but I’m disappointed. That first (not faulty) case I had lasted a full year and was still in pretty good condition when I got a new phone, so why are the cases I’m getting now falling apart so quickly? I’m not rough with my phone; I don’t submerge it in water and I only get it wet to gently wash it, and it’s rare for me to drop it further than off my bed onto the floor.
I will end this review by saying, I have never, ever cracked a screen or damaged my phone in any way while using a Lifeproof case. I just don’t 100% trust the waterproofing, and the cases don’t last long. If you’re alright with paying that $5 fee a few times, it’s a decent investment.
