I've had several LifeProof Fre cases over the years, and have been very pleased overall with their performance, as well as the company's customer service. Do some parts of the cases eventually wear out? Sure they do, but that's normal wear and tear; they're not titanium after all. And, if some part of the case wears out during the warranty period, i.e., one year, the company's customer service has been hassle-free, and I have received the replacement case quickly. Additionally, the nominal shipping and handling fee is very reasonable, and the company specifies in the terms of the warranty that they will charge such a fee, so no surprises. The cases have helped me to keep my phones in great shape for years.

The Galaxy s8 version is horrible. There's a huge gap between the case and my screen. It sucks so bad to press my screen all the time. Also the case is so bloody dusty I get dust specks inside my phone all the time. This problem has been occuring ever since Galaxy s7 models. Looks like I'm switching to otterbox the next time and you all should.

Don't be fooled by the name! This case is not at all LifeProof and the company knows it since they only give you a one year warranty. The company does not care if the case does not protect your phone from drops, water, etc. and will not refund you for the damaged phone. The promises they make on the box when you buy the case are empty and the company has no intention of backing them up. I had to replace the case once during the one year warranty because it was falling apart and my new case's rubber parts have now started to disintegrate as well. The case claims to be waterproof so I took it tubing down the river but was very cautious to not submerge it just in case but it did get splashed a few times. Sure enough, the case was not watertight. My phone got water inside of it and broke. I contacted the company and they responded by informing me that they would never refund for a phone being broken because of their failed guarantees on the case and then offered to send me a new case as if I would want another phone case for my phone that had been broken because I trusted the previous case I had gotten from them. I did not respond. Luckily I did not have to purchase a new phone but did have to spend $120 getting the water cleaned out of it. An expense and experience I would not have had to go through if I had not gone with a Lifeproof case. Don't know how they retain customers with no confidence in their own products, such lack of desire to repair company-customer relationships, and so many bad reviews!

Really bad quality and design. Awful customer service. Won’t even reply to my email. Got my case 4 months ago and it’s already falling apart. Warranty’s only a year and if you somehow contact them and they reply, you have to pay for the shipping and handling of the new case they send you to replace yours. Horrible company!! Don’t buy from them you’re better off buying an otterbox

Its overpriced for what it is. I would not say that if it was not for the fact that their phone cases delaminate over time. They just come apart at the seams over a period of 6-12 months until they fall appart. Pretty low quality.

Complete junk, stay clear from this product line. The positive statements written on this forum are written by Life Proof employees. Do your homework, look at other forums that testify this overpriced piece of junk will not last a year. Spoke with the manager, Breiann, in July 2018, who insists “I can provide assistance to your 'other' products” yet rejects to fix or replace current products. Her customer skills were rather lacking and condescending. She reflects poorly their business model. Thus, in short, both customer service and product line is rather poor. DO YOUR HOMEWORK

I got a lifeproof case when i got my samsung galaxy 7 and ive had to have a few replacements, twice due to the charging port cover breaking and once due to the screen separating. All have been during the warranty time and i have had such an easy time getting a replacement. This last go around USPS delivered my case to the wrong address so i never recieved it but lifeproof resent my case with no charge for shipping and sent it Express mail. such amazing customer service. and even though ive had to have replacements on my case, they've saved my phone COUNTLESS times. Every phone I own from now on will have a lifeproof case as long as the quality of the product & their customer service remains excellent as it has been since I purchased the original case.

We bought these life proof cases with our sumsung 8+phones. They are a waist of money.. they are a piece of junk..on two of them u cant turn the volume down...the power button on it popped out, and there is such a big gap between the phone screen and the case that you have to press the letters multiple times...I will never buy these again..
