Life360 failed us multiple times in an emergency
We have used Life360 for years, keeping track of our teenagers and paying a premium knowing if they are ever in an accident the features would pay for themselves. Well, last Sunday night our son was riding back to college with his roommate and his roommate swerved and rolled his car four times down into a revine. The car came to rest upside down and despite having his seatbelt on in the front passenger seat, our son ended up in the backseat. They were both unconscious but my son's Apple iPhone woke him up with the emergency beacon and emergency responders saying "they aren't responsive, send EMT immediately!!" After breaking out the front window, my son woke up his roommate and the boys got out. Our son was able to find his phone and call us and using Life360 we mapped ourselves to his location 45 minutes away. When we got there, no one was there and his location then updated and showed him approaching a nearby hospital heading to the ER. We then mapped ourselves to that location only to again end up alone! We then called our other son who said they were at a different hospital. Life360 failed us multiple times last Sunday night and needless to say we are very disappointed. We are, however, impressed and thankful that our son's iPhone sent help immediately!
