I needed to get new lenses with a new prescription and heard there were great prices online. When I started to check websites I found that most wanted me to purchase new frames and lenses. I need progressive lens glasses and was concerned that the fit wouldn't be right without being measured for my eyes. When I found LensFactory I discovered that I could send in an old pair of glasses and they would use the measurements from them. Great Idea. I didn't need to purchase new frames from LensFactory, I was able to use frames I already own and like. Now my husband is ready to order new lenses too. Thank You for your great service.

Most places WANT to sell you new frames . . . I wanted to re-use mine as I paid a lot for them because of being "memory" metal . . . and I"m tough on things. All the regular places wanted me to buy NEW frames, and couldn't even offer the type I already had. To re-lens my existing frames, they wanted an ADDITIONAL charge JUST to re-use the frames. Or, I could get some cheesy ones and pay for them as well. Hmmm. What a racket most places are . . . this offered me an opportunity to not have to throw out a great set of frames and replace them at higher cost, with crummier frames. Service was fast, they keep you well informed of what's happening, and they got back to me faster than my wife's . . . . who did it through one of the big chain places for more money. Can't argue with that. Will use again next time I need lenses changed, without any hesitation.

Great, efficient service. Pleasant, prompt, helpful communication via email and phone. Able to fill progressive prescription flawlessly at a really reasonable cost. I would recommend this service to anyone, and will definitely be using them again.

They only reason I didnt review more poorly was they seemed to be trying at least til the end when they gave up. They delayed the order a couple week, the lenses were blotchy when I received them. Some came off anf some blotches were permanent. There was a weird film on glasses and I dont see any evidence of anti scratch. I always clean my lenses with a micr fiber cloth after blowing air on them and I always use a lens cleaner prior to wiping. Well I barely wiped a lens one time with very little to almost no pressure in one area once to remove a smudge and the lens scracthed badly. My other lenses with anti scratch I can almost grind on them with a t shirt in a situation where I have no wipe handy and get no scractches. Bad experience. They cut and fit were fine but because of mail and factory delays it took over a month to get glasses. I understand the mail but not the factory delay and bad coating on glasses. They scratch real easy so you dont get what you pay for. I got a refund but thought others should know because they may get a bad exp as well. Was made to feel like I was the unreasonable one when it was all over when all I wanted was quality lenses in my glasses in a week like they promised.

The web site design falls in the 'OK' but not great category. However, the very personal and responsive customer support more than makes up for it. The status of my order wasn't always properly reflected on the web site. However, whenever I e-mailed them to get info, the response was really quick! The quality of the lenses I found to be excellent. The prices are very competitive, and if you Google for a discount code or coupon, you may be able to do even a bit better.

This company has been great plus you can use your old frame which other eye care companies highly discourage ie lens crafters. I have progressive lenses and they got it just right
