I got a set of lenses for my Meta Ray-Ban 4006 back in 2025 since I’ve seen them recommended online on various places. Ordering was painless and the price was affordable with decent offers and discounts. I was annoyed that I couldn’t order my lenses without the “Blue Blocker” which just put an ugly yellow filter over everything. I made sure to get the anti-scratch coating, but after a year I started getting painful headaches when I wore them and everything looked blurry with flares from any source of light. I finally made an appointment with an optometrist for a new prescription thinking something was wrong, and she was in shock as my lenses were completely scratched up. She said that they looked like someone used sandpaper to clean them everyday. I need to be clear, I only use the microfiber cloth that came with my glasses, and some cleaning spray. I’ve worn 3 different pairs of glasses for over a decade, and I’ve never had an issue with this routine of microfiber and spray. I even pulled out my most recent pair that got me through high school and college, and there’s no scratches on them, and I got them from Walmart! My vision has now become worse due to constantly torturing my eyes for a year. I hope everyone stays far away from this company if you value your eyes.
