It costs people between $9,000 - $15,000 to do worksheets online with weekly hour long zoom calls where Ilana spends no joke, 15-20 mins just saying out loud the names of people as they join the call. The rest of the time is spent hard selling the next “opportunities” and levels. It’s very much a rip off of old school Tony Robbins feel good self help innocuous talking points - no authenticity! It’s also embarrassing to be associated with this group on social media because every legit recruiter knows this is a MLM-like ‘company’ and all talk, no substance.

I came to Leap Academy with the goal of returning to a rewarding career after a 14 year pause to raise my family. I was looking to throw out my Y2K vintage playbook and compete in the current market. Jacqui Porter, Ilana Golan, and the entire Leap Team helped me revamp my resume, social media profile, branding, and approach to outreach and interviewing. I just landed a position as an agency head with a city in New Jersey. Leap Academy is a commitment of time (three group meetings a week, plus individual coaching and homework), money, and self (you need to be prepared to do the work to reinvent yourself). I love the personalized and insightful branding suggestions, opportunity to connect with great leaders and the sense of community the group is based on. I had not thought it would be such a welcoming experience to celebrate everyone’s unique skillsets and give us a platform to get inspired and inspire. I can honestly say that Leap Academy changed my life. After experiencing an unexpected, seismic upheaval in my career, I was truly lost on how to move forward. Finding Leap allowed me to dig in and ask myself the tough questions: what do I really want out of life, and how to I align my career goals accordingly? I can't say it has been easy - some of this work can feel uncomfortable at times. But when it does, you have Ilana, all of the incredible coaches, and a huge peer group there to support you. I have never experienced a community so genuinely happy to root for each and every person's success. I know some come to these programs looking for something very specific: to increase their salary by 'x' amount, to land clients or to get that title they've always dreamed of. This is absolutely possible given the caliber of coaching and programming, but to me the real value has been in the less visible (but possibly more seismic) shifts -- the way I think about myself, the way I view opportunities and the way I think about the future have fundamentally changed in a way that I know will serve me not just now but for the rest of my life. I can't overstate how impactful this program has been for me. If you are thinking about it, I would only encourage you to ask yourself how much you are willing to really dig in and do the work. Like any great program, you get what you put in!

I didn't know how impactful "executive training" would be. I wish I had gone through this 20 years ago in my career. You don't need to be an "executive" to instill these values and mindsets. My biggest take away was "Portfolio Careers" and the network of members is worth every penny. I have developed my career through their guidance and examples far beyond my wildest dreams when I took my first Zoom session a year ago. From admin/project manager in corporate for 30 years to running multiple business ventures, joining Boards of Directors, starting to write a book and more - I can't even believe it has only been a year and I have many more left in my career so I am making them count.

Joining LEAP Academy, going through the Foundations program, and attending one of their live events last month has been one of the best decisions for my professional development. Through LEAP I have gotten to know myself better, learned how to hone in on my strengths and zone of genius, and how to rely on the hidden network to create and attract opportunities.
