Not really for me
Hi Everybody, This review is of the free training seminar that the Leap Academy conducted April 8, 9 & 10. More accurately, it will be of the first 3 hrs of the presentation on 4/8 and their pre launch call on 4/7. Oddly enough, this program came as a recommendation to me from a very well respected friend of my wife. She spoke highly of Ilan and the program and I was very excited to attend the sessions. I took 3 days off work so I could focus 100% and even paid the $97 to be in the VIP session so I could ask questions (I have since requested a refund - unsure if I will actually get). The 4/7 pre launch session was typical of what I would have expected from a free session. There was a bit of hype to the event but that is really the point. The 4/8 session started with Ilan getting the audience hyped up (there was approx 400 folks on the call so I don't blame her for that, she needs to get folks attention). However, it rather quickly dissolved into repetitive chants (it was really odd to see 400 folks chanting "I'm in!" via chat). It did strike me as a touch odd as nothing of substance was ever discussed. I can see where the reviews citing MLMs and time share pitches come from. From my perspective it was the wildly similar (not sure I could tell them apart). After 3 hrs of testimonials and chants, I began to feel they had no intention of actually discussing anything of substance. At that point I emailed one of the organizers of the event to ask to speak with some directly (I already know I want the product, I didn't really want to sit through a sales pitch). They were nice enough to set up a time for me to discuss the program with a coach on the same day. After spending an hour with the coach, I can see how this program could be successful for the right person. They do seem to provide lots of structure and support, how individualized that support is I can't say. At the end of the day, I decided not to move forward with the program as it appears to be a incredibly high pressure sales environment, I just don't respond well to that and I really don't like aligning myself with folks using those practices. I find they tend to be seen as emotionally manipulative and never seem to lead to long term success as they lack any real authenticity. ************April 16/2025 - Refund Update I just wanted to provide an update as I have now heard back regarding my refund request. I was offered a refund of the $97 I paid (to ask questions at the "Free" seminar). However, this offer is contingent on me signing a "Confidential Settlement and Mutual Release" (basically, a non disparagement agreement). This agreement mandates that if I would need to remove this review and agree never to post any critical of them. While I don't have any intentions of posting this review anywhere else, I view these types of agreements as a poor business practice and will not be signing. That said, I guess I am out the $97 but I am really looking at this as a lesson more than anything else. Please understand, I hold no ill will towards the folks at Leap Academy. My goal with this review was to simply let everyone know my experience. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone!

I’m sorry you didn’t find this helpful. I admit I did give my heart and soul for 17 hours this week for practically free to help as many as possible… so this review stings. Not sure where you would get this level of information around communication, opening doors, raising your value through stories and branding, which is fundamental for negotiation, and overall the career 360 view. Not sure how many webinars you delivered to 400 people but to keep people engaged, awake and concentrated you have to use the chat. Maybe you don’t need it. Most humans do. The good news is that we also have hundreds of people who told us how this has already helped them show up more powerful in reach out and interviews. I do personally believe that this view of the world will hold you back from maximizing your income potential and overall possibilities but I’m wishing you so much luck and happiness nevertheless.
