I work in big tech company and get regularly personal spam without ability to unsubscribe. It’s very unethical behaviour
here is the full mail

Hey XXXXXXX – last email from me.
I put together a short guide on how people are landing higher-paying roles, building portfolio careers, and getting the recognition they deserve... all while maintaining balance lifestyle for themselves and their families.
It shows how they’ve done this even after being stuck in the same role, career path, or company for years.
Want me to send it over?
Best,

UPD I’ve received response from Ilana. She confirmed the issue and also shared that it was a more personal basis email. Since I‘ve never ever shared my working email with LeapAcademy, it‘s seems that LeapAcademy uses even more unethical ways to get information about employees and their email addresses in BIG TECH Companies.
Response from Leap Academy Ilana GolanJan 24, 2026
Dear Sergei, I absolutely agree and I hate spam as well. In fact l, you’ve helped us detect an issue and we appreciate that.
In every email we have a very clear unsubscribe at the bottom. However we’ve found, thanks to your review, that there was a certain type of email that we were sending on a more personal basis that didn’t have this option.
We’ve fixed the issue, so thank you for alerting us.
Have a beautiful weekend.

I really regret signing up for this…
I really regret signing up for this course. It was the worst timing and decision for me. As someone with a busy schedule, I struggled to manage the additional meetings (3 times a week Zoom group calls—for sharing with other Leapers, mini-coaching sessions, and networking), which clashed with my job and other commitments. Instead of helping me make a breakthrough, the course added more stress to my already overwhelming life, and I found myself doubting myself even more.
I genuinely wanted to invest in my growth, but the course didn’t live up to expectations for my situation. The online course work material was made up of video recordings and assignments, and the 30-minute coaching sessions weren’t sufficient to guide me through the challenges I was facing. Rather than feeling fully supported, I ended up mentally drained and making no real progress. It was not working for me.
I strongly urge others to think VERY CAREFULLY before signing up. I got sold on the idea (those videos from Ilana were powerful, inspiring, and persuasive!) and rushed into it, but in hindsight, there are likely better options that would be a better fit for your individual needs and schedule. Now, I’m left struggling with debt ($$$$) from a course that didn’t meet my needs or provide the value promised. I feel like I need a therapy session just to cope with this whole move and undesirable decision.. :(

Dear Aky,
(I don't know your real name otherwise we would have reached out to you).
Timing is everything and I am so sorry you didn't come to us about how you are feeling!
Of course we don't want you to feel overwhelmed and we want to help you!
We do absolutely believe that the highest leaps can take place when you have a stable role (vs when you are desperate to land a compromise).
This is why my team advocated for you. We wanted to assist you in going higher and creating portfolio career that we know would have been a dream for you.
But if the timing wasn't working, we could have provided more 1-1s instead of the group sessions, we could have helped you navigate your current work environment or even refund you until a better time comes along.
Leap is absolutely not a prison.
For most individuals, it will change the second part of their life, but if thats not you at this moment in life - please reach out!
We want to make this right for you. Email us at [email protected] and let us support you.
Rooting for your success and happiness!

It costs people between $9k-$15k
It costs people between $9,000 - $15,000 to do worksheets online with weekly hour long zoom calls where Ilana spends no joke, 15-20 mins just saying out loud the names of people as they join the call. The rest of the time is spent hard selling the next “opportunities” and levels. It’s very much a rip off of old school Tony Robbins feel good self help innocuous talking points - no authenticity! It’s also embarrassing to be associated with this group on social media because every legit recruiter knows this is a MLM-like ‘company’ and all talk, no substance.

Dear Nicki, since we don’t see you in our client database we know this review is sadly fake and not based on real experience.
The caliber of our clients is many times extremely senior professionals in many of the biggest companies in the world. After they work with us, some will leap into very senior positions like VP & C-Suite, private equity firms, venture capital firms or go ahead and build their own successful businesses and portfolio careers. So not sure what you are saying about MLM but you clearly have no clue who our clients are.
Makes me wonder if you are some competition trying to make your name in bad faith.
If you did somehow gone through our programs under a different name, clearly we would love for you to reach out and understand how we can make the experience better for you. The zoom sessions will welcome people in the first 2 minutes all the rest is extremely tactical, so clearly you missed the 90% strategy that the program includes. We are at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to serve you there.

Review from somewhat inside point of view
I'm writing this review from a different perspective. I was a part of their sales training bootcamp. Although there were some good materials in training modules, the way the staff member, namely Amanda Crocker, conducted herself was utterly unprofessional, contrary to the way the founder presented herself in many of her marketing materials or even on the initial "group interview" calls. And yes, this was supposed to be a part of the "interview" process for the representatives which she never told us. Lack of clarity from her was glaring. She would tell you you "passed" the interview but she would never say the training was also a part of the interview process. Based on having seen the inner workings of the organization briefly, I cannot in good conscience recommend this program.
If you see their marketing or even training materials, they make themselves appear as very aspiring, caring and positive self improvement programs. But the reality is, during the "training", they do not give anyone any constructive criticism they promised whatsoever and they just simply make up HR corporate excuses to cut people off with no valid explanations. In sum, if you cannot fit into Amanda's deceptive ways, you are done. I don't even think that Ms.Golan knows everything that goes on exactly. It is understandable though given that this is a less than 5 year old startup and things do fall through cracks.
To be transparent, the "bootcamp" consisted of 4 one hour sessions over the course of 4 days and I've had professional conflicts on 2 out of 4 days. I was very upfront about it and I even asked for different days. Amanda was not accomodating and didn't give me any other options but to press through, basically saying not to worry during the training and she said she would "work things out". Why the hell did she "accept" me if they had no intention of letting me finish in the first place? I spoke with my fellow candidates when this happened and all of them agreed that there was nothing wrong with my presentation which means I was not behind on progress. So definitely there was a real reason that they are not telling me.
The bottomline - they get off on setting people up for failure and have no interest in nurturing talent. If this is the way the company conducts itself then how could they expect people to believe what they are saying in those presentation materials? And this program is definitely not cheap. I almost want to say how much but I'm sure that would violate the NDA I signed so I won't. But definitely high enough to question their true motives.
Clearly there are some successful examples. (Although on Google reviews, abovementioned Amanda wrote one and obviously she works there so THAT was wrong) For those reasons, I would proceed with caution and if you feel something is off, I would run. And don't sign up on the first call if you choose to get on their "free" call no matter what they would tell you. If the program is as good as what they say it is for whoever they're targeting, it shouldn't matter if they sign up after 1 call or the next. (Or even beyond) They even said they don't want a hard closer but trust me, they do.
I've written many reviews. I have also been a Yelp Elite for the past 4 years. I take the responsibility seriously. You don't become a Yelp Elite by writing some random negative reviews just for the heck of it. And I'm certainly not the type who usually writes this kind of review to the company who didn't hire me for any position. If the company had behaved responsibly, giving fair shot to everyone especially if they're requiring applicants to participate beyond the normal first, second (or sometimes 3rd) ONE ON ONE interviews and not misleading applicants like they did with me, I wouldn't be writing this review. I'm writing this because I strongly believe that the way they handle people, employee or applicants is a reflection of what the company is really like. If they mislead employees or potential employees with deception, they would have no problem deceiving their customers.
My father used to say don't pay attention to what they say, pay attention to what they do. And I'm telling you what they do from my first hand experience so that you can go in with your eyes open. So that is my advice.

Dear Nick, you were not part of a Sales Bootcamp, you were interviewed to a sales role and we rejected you. Lets set the record straight :-)
Since you decided to put a 1 star on every platform as revenge for us not hiring you - I want to make this very clear here.
The good news, for our clients and whomever reads this, is that we are very selective of who we hire into Leap Academy:
We hire those who are extremely hard working, extremely professional, always go the extra mile and make sure to be positive and fun along the journey. You were not neither of those, hence it wasn't a good match.
Those who read this can decide if they want to listen to hundreds of clients that we were able to change their lives and they share it openly on YouTube, our website, Google business and here... or they want to listen to someone we decided not to hire because they didn't have the level of expertise nor the attitude we want in Leap.
I do wish you best of luck and success,
Ilana

I was curious about the program and…
I was curious about the program and wanted to see what it was about. I received a text from “Dinah” after I filled out the form and sent an email inquiring about a concern I had. She initially seemed accommodating then a day later she in not so many words made it seem like I wasn’t good enough for the program if I wasn’t ready to “invest in myself”. Be aware they seem scammy and are after people who are ready to just throw them your money. Don’t fall for it.

Hi Crystal, I am sorry you had a misunderstanding with my team. When Dinah read that you "don't have time to invest in yourself and you want to keep your career as it is" - we wanted to send you free resources your way and not have you invest in something you wont be able to follow through. Our biggest priority is to help people and change lives. Dinah was trying to understand exactly what would be of help. We have a huge selection of free resources from public speaking workshops, AI prompts that will help you with resume/Linkedin/Cover letters, free videos for various topics etc. Seems like we didn't make ourselves clear enough, and for that - I apologize. Please reach out to me personally in an email and I will make sure to take great care of you ([email protected]).
