Excellent professional service from buying the shoes in Salt Lake (Murray) UT and taking them on our vacation to Yellstone, Mt. Rushmore. (Basically, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota) and wore my KURU SHOES everyday and we walked a lot. I have worn them almost everyday since purchasing and will purchase a new pair soon. Because of my daily use and always on the go my insoles took a bit of a beating so I sent a message to get a new pair of insoles and they came very quickly and put them in my high mileage sneaker style KURUs and now they feel like new again. Extremely pleased customer!

Honestly, i'm surprised by all the five star reviews. I wonder maybe if folks are writing their reviews after having only had and worn the shoes for a few days or a few weeks. The shoes that I received (in April 2026) looked very good and are indeed quite comfortable. I like the wide toe box and I like the support. However, within just a month, I started to notice that some of the materials were beginning to unravel. I was not wearing them in rugged conditions, just basic stuff like walking the dog, going to the office, and grocery shopping. I have now had these shoes for 4 months and with only moderate (several days a week, but not daily) use, they already appear to need to be replaced. At this price point, I expect to get closer to 10 or 12 months of use.

We're so sorry this has been your experience, and you're absolutely right to expect more from your shoes. As for all those 5-star reviews, they may be in on a little not-so-secret secret that you haven't discovered yet: our 6-month warranty. While defects like unraveling are uncommon, if they do happen within the warranty period, we make it right. You're still well within that timeframe, so please submit a warranty request through our website, or email a few photos to [email protected]. Once one of our warranty specialists reviews the defect, we should be able to replace your shoes at no cost. We hope we can turn this into the 5-star experience you expected from the start!
