I ordered two Pug Life harnesses, but received two harnesses with a different brand name, Joy Ride. I’ve posted on the Pug Life website, asking for an explanation, and was assured they would investigate. So far, nothing. My order number was #348422. UPDATE: I have received a response from Pug Life. They are switching their brand name to Joy Ride and selling off remaining Pug Life inventory. So if you don’t care what the tag says on the harness, go ahead and order. Just be advised and proceed accordingly. Marilyn

Worst customer service ever! I ordered a harness on August 13 and received it on Aug. 21. I went by the website guidelines, but it was far too small. I sent it back on Aug. 21 for an exchange. Order 339167 I was notified on August 28th that it was received and approved for return #E80E59. I was told it had an ETA of 7 - 10 days and I would receive a tracking number soon. It never came, I never got a tracking number, and they didn't answer my emails. The 2 phone numbers I have are answered by a computer and hang up politely after their commercial. A robot dog named dog bot answers their emails. I did get a response from Sharon who told me to contact her from then on, but she has not replied to my emails. I have over 10 email chains with over 20 emails, written mostly by dog bog and by me. I have called 7 times. I have chatted online 4 times. The "chatters" try to help but say they can't do anything from there and will send it over to Sharon and her team, but nothing happens. Sharon said a replacement went out on Aug. 30 but she could not give me a tracking number. I don't think it ever went out. I wish I had checked with the Better Business Bureau before ordering. The company's website reviews are wonderful. BBB says the company is not BBB accredited and they have opened an investigation of Pug Life because of the amount of issues with not receiving purchases and not getting responses from the company. BBB's website says 407 complaints have been closed in the last 3 years, and 372 complaints have been closed in the last 12 months. I wonder how many open complaints there are. Mine is one of them. I filed it today. Of course, the company did not respond to BBB. BBB has also challenged 3 claims on their ads because they are not true. Pug Life should spend less on advertising and more on customer service. Save yourself a headache and don't order from them until they get their act together (if that ever happens). Do a google search instead of relying on reviews on their website... my second biggest mistake in this ordeal. My first mistake was ordering from them.

The harness is a nice design, but the clasp under the belly has popped open many many times. I purchased two of the harnesses, one for me and the other for my sister. We both have the clasp problem and my sisters dog ran off after another dog. We don’t use anymore because of this danger! Also tried multiple times (6/9/19 8/23/19)contacting puglife about refund, still waiting? Calling just disconnects? The website says how good harness is and 100% satisfaction? I’m wanting full money back on both harnesses! Order#273265

Product is ok but customer service is horrible. Do not buy from this company unless you know for a fact that you will not need to return product for any reason. No real person available to talk to from customer service. Sent repeated emails only to be told the same thing over and over again....that my refund would be received in 5-7 business days. Took many, many emails and lots of time and persistence to finally receive my refund after over two months of them receiving my return. Will not do business with them again and would definitely not recommend this company.

To Pug Life Harness - You have minimally responded to my many emails to you regarding my request for a refund. You keep telling me that I'll be receiving it, but never when and then I don't hear from you AGAIN. I've tried calling you, but get the same message and no actual person. In the message you say to fill out the form on your website. I have and guess what... an automatic response that you received it and someone will be in touch.... but no one responds! So, still no response and no refund! Horrible company!!! Don’t order from them!!!

To Pug Life Harness - You have responded twice to my complaints on this website. You keep telling me to reply and provide my name and order number. I can’t REPLY to your message, that is why I sent your company another email. And guess what... no response!!! No response, and no refund! Horrible company!!! Don’t EVER order from them!!!

The harness broke the first time we used it. The large plastic clasp... The ONLY clasp holding the product closed, snapped on the first use because my dog bumped into her crate. We asked for a replacement, sent pictures, printed out a shipping label supplied by the company, paid for the shipping (NOT covered by the company), and have waited FIVE MONTHS for a replacement. Now they are not responding to any of my messages. Stay away from this company.

I bought two harnesses one that was destroyed in less than a month. I contacted the company with a picture and this was their response: Thank you for sending photos to us regarding your damaged/defective harness. Our team has reviewed your case and while we certainly wish we could help you further, our warranty policy does not cover damage caused by our customers' beloved furbabies. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot them our way and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
