My dog is is right at the last inch for a large so I ordered an extra large to see if it would fit better. And it did but after a week of wearing it, she pulled backwards so hard that the buckle snapped open. Just about 2 feet away from rush hour traffic. I had already removed the price tag which saves them from having to accept your returns even though it is just string and a price/size tag. Also, measured against the large, the strap isn't much longer between the large and extra large when both are fully extended. And the webbing is really slippery. The buckle was bigger than the large but thinner plastic which made it weak and dangerous. It's a shame because my dog hates all harnesses so the fit is genius, the execution is shoddy and so is the lack of taking responsibility for their product simply because you removed the price/size tag.

Great harness for our large lab. Just orders the summer one for the first time. Like the little cards it came with to identify him.

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad to hear the harness is working great for your big Lab. 🐶💪 And we love that you enjoyed the little ID cards too — just a small way to add extra peace of mind (and personality!) to your pup's gear. We hope you love the summer harness just as much! ☀️💛

The size was spot on-style is fluid and easypeasy. Even for an old lady, ha!

I am giving a 5 star review because I have ordered 3 harnesses over the years for my 3 med to large dogs. and I love that they are well made and easy to put on and take off. So naturally when we adopted a chihuahua my first though was to order one for her as well. But the small size is so heavy duty and bulky that it doesn't work for her, actually I think the smaller dogs don't benefit from this heavy and bulky harness like larger dogs do. If there is a lightweight one for small dogs, I would totally order it.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we’re honored to be your go-to for your medium and large pups! 🐾 We're so glad to hear the harnesses have served you well over the years. And thank you for the honest feedback about your chihuahua's experience. You're absolutely right—our original design was built tough with larger dogs in mind, and we know the smaller pups need something a bit lighter. You’ll be happy to hear we’re actively working on a more lightweight version for our tiniest harness-wearers. 💛 We’ll be sure to keep our community posted when it’s ready!
