Joyous has been a fantastic experience. I love the sense of self direction and independence I have with it, which is so important to me with my history. Support is always available if I need it or have any questions and the online aspect is easy to use too. The weekly and monthly check ins are easy to navigate and my zoom meetings with my provider have also been easy. Any questions I have are addressed and if I want to make any changes in how I take my dose, I can- whether all at once or spread out over the day. This helps me truly tailor my medication to what I need. I would recommend Joyous to anyone who wants or needs to be in the safety of their own home rather than in an a Dr's office.

I wish this had been an available form of treatment for anxiety and depression many years ago, but I am grateful that it is at least becoming more widely accepted and available now. It has been truly life-changing in terms of being able to cope with and enjoy life in the grand scheme of things. If you do not know what it’s like to force yourself to participate in life and dread waking up every morning, then consider yourself lucky. But many people out there, more than you know, struggle with those feelings daily. To finally have something within reach (and most importantly… legal) that relieves even a fraction of that on the worst day, is truly a miracle.
