Grief and anxiety
I've been on ketamine therapy with Joyous for two years, and it carried me through the hardest chapter of my life. I spent four years caring for my husband through a motorcycle accident and then cancer. My anxiety was at a ten the entire time. Then came ketamine — it calmed me down, helped me focus, and let me truly live in love with him through those years instead of just surviving them. He didn't die of the cancer. He died in a freak, unexpected event I never saw coming, and I thought my whole world had ended. I'm still grieving — I'm not through it yet — but ketamine helped me through that process with a clear head and a calm I never had before therapy. My lifelong struggle was PTSD and anxiety. For the first time in my life, I can calm myself. Here's a side note nobody expected: I can do math in my head now. Tips, simple adding — it was always in there somewhere, but I could never pull the threads together. Now I can, and my son and coworkers just look at me in awe. I'd rather have my husband back. But ketamine is helping me stay clear-headed enough to understand what needs doing and run the business he left behind — and that matters more than I can say.
