Tried to switch to Embody as their price was better than current provider but they wouldnt give the appropriate dose, they prescribed me 11.125mg??? It's also been a week and half since prescribed and still hasn't shipped and haven't heard any updates from anyone. Feels super scammy. I asked if I could cancel and get my money back and they just ignored me.

Great Experience
My consultant was a great experience. I felt heard and understood everything that was given to me.

I’d equate them to a dealer who says “first ones free”
Yes, much cheaper than most others. For a reason.
First month (August) was a breeze. (Woohoo, a non-medicinal dose of TIRZ for $129 and a good-for-nothing supplement at $99).
I cancelled the supplement mid-August (after the third of eight doses) bc it was making me sick.
On 9/8, I got an email saying that my “next refill is scheduled to go through on 9/13” (the date my dashboard showed for my TIRZ). “If you’d like it sooner, just reply YES”… the email said. So, to get things moving with my TIRZ refill, I replied “YES”.
What’d that do? It re-started my supplement subscription and charged me for it. Didn’t do a damn thing for my TIRZ. But the supplement showed up 9/10. I didn’t even bother requesting a refund. $99 sunk, but I just wanted things to go smoothly for my TIRZ in a few days.
Payment went through automatically for my first refill (second vial) of TIRZ on 9/13. Now it’s 9/26, and after 9 phone calls, 12 emails (from me), and several in-app/dashboard messages, I still have not received my TIRZ.
When I first filed my complaint (9/15, after receiving the supplement with no news regarding the TIRZ), they sent me an email asking when I’m available for an “appointment”. Said appointment was scheduled in timely manner after I gave them my availability. But the “appointment” was not with a provider (maybe an NP, but she clearly had no clue what was going on).
I was told my medication had already shipped.
I told her that my dashboard showed nothing about the TIRZ being shipped (unlike last month, when it promptly updated and provided shipping/tracking info).
So then, she tried to tell me “it shipped with the [supplement]”. It hadn’t. It took a several minutes of me explaining this until she actually understood what I was saying.
Then she changed her script; “Oh actually it looks like payment only went through a couple days ago” - so they told me to wait another couple days, or call the pharmacy directly. She told me that they prescribe for three months at a time, so the pharmacy could just push it through if needed.
After waiting those couple days, I called the pharmacy and they said they still needed the approval from Embody.
I called again. Talked through it for several minutes - again. All with another person who clearly does not have the full picture of what’s going on. “Shipped with supplement”, I was told, “wait a little longer” they said. So on and so forth. I was told it would be flagged as a priority to get the doctor’s approval, I thanked them, and the phone call ended.
Now it’s 9/26 and I still haven’t received the TIRZ. However, today I got yet another email (the third one since the first “appointment”) asking when I’m available to talk with a provider. (I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO TALK WITH A PROVIDER - THERE IS NO CHANGE IN MY MEDICATION THAT REQUIRES THIS). I replied to all three of these emails within the same hour of receipt - with no follow-up on their end regarding scheduling.
Round and around and around and a-effing-round. I’m over it.
I hesitated to cancel, worrying that they wouldn’t send me my medication if I did so (even though I already paid), but since I’m so close to my next refill date, I went through with cancellation yesterday because I don’t think they’re going to send it regardless, and I’d rather they con me out of some $200 than $400 (or more).
Embody is a scam. Don’t fall for it. Take it from someone who genuinely wants to save you time, money, and energy.

They missed the scheduled initial call
They missed the scheduled initial call. I signed up, they charged my credit card and scheduled an initial call three weeks out. I got many reminders leading up to the call so that I wouldn’t forget, then they did. I called and emailed and did get a response but no resolution yet. What a pain!
