I tried to transfer ~$250K out to my Wellsfargo Bank for a real estate transaction. But the online website only allows a maximum transfer of $50K a day. So, I called the bank to get help. The agent said that she could help me make the wire transfer, and the funding will be available in 3 days. On the day when the funding was supposed to arrive, I got a message that the transfer of fund was denied due to security concern. This is not a valid reason. The Wellsfargo account I plan to transfer the funding to is the same account that I used to deposit the funding to my Jenius account. So, I called Jenius bank again. The bank manager admmited that they made a mistake, but still refused to release my money to me. He said that the only way I can make withdrawal is through the $50K per day transfer, or by linking my Wellsfargo account to my Jenius account. It will take a couple of days to link the account and after linking the account, it will take another three days to transfer the funding. Now I am screwed in my real estate transaction. Please, don't put your money in this bank.

I was attracted by the high interest rate - 5.25 percent when I opened the account. It's gone down twice in the last few months to 4.8 percent, but it's still better than most HYSA, which seems to be between 4 and 4.25 percent. My only quibble with Jenius is their transactions are slow to post. Make a transfer to Jenius from your regular bank account and the money comes out right away. But it doesn't hit your Jenius account for 3-4 days. I know, they're playing the float and making money off of us, but I'd rather be the one making the money, especially since interest is compounded daily.

I submitted my application, received an email to upload income information. Following my upload I received 5 more emails over the course of several days stating there was information missing from my application. I was never provided the actual information that was needed it just stated missing financial information, and yes it was because they only allow you to upload 1 document at a time. I continued to upload additional financial information. Finally on a friday afternoon I received a call from a representative from Jenius bank that stated the actual information they still need. I was able to upload 1 document and planned to upload my marriage certificate this morning again because you can literally only upload 1 document at a time. When I opened my computer I had an email that stated due to inactivity my application had expired. I called Jenius Bank to enquire and was told it was because it had been 10 days, I asked how they can say its due to inactivity and the person I spoke with could give me no explanation other than "yeah I see where you have spoken to someone and loaded info several times but the reason is inactivity". I then said so my only choice at this time is to reapply and take another hit on my credit? She replied yes, I shared how disrespectful that is to people and that they may want to work on an alternative way to handle things so they can potentially not screw future customers over. So my recommendation to others is unless you want to watch your credit score that you work so hard to increase and maintain tank into the toilet you may want to choose a different lender. I should have just stuck with my gut feeling and selected one of the other companies through credit karma that I had heard of and/or used in the past and taken the 1 point higher in interest. Lesson learned going forward!

Fake they do not approve what they say they will and I have great credit just wanted to consolidate now I have a ding for no reason . And this was the first to say no

Great experience .....fast.... from application to approval. Needed to change accounts for the deposit but system was not able. Agents try to help but could not. Make sure info on initial application is what you want. Overall a great experience though.

HORRIBLE AVOID THEM SCAM SCAM they are scam Hard hit your credit and no answers you have to call them multiple times and they just asked for more and more documentation

Loan advertised as 9.9%. Looked at my statement today and I have been charged 25% interest. Representative said they also charge a $3.81 per day interest charge - nearly $120 per month in my case. Have written to the Consumer Protection Agency and will begin filing fraud charges with state and local banking interests and the Dept of Commerce tomorrow. I won’t stop until this illegal banking practice is fined. Predatory lending is illegal. Dont even consider using this bank.

Deposited 250K all at once...not able to withdraw it at one time. Only in 50K increments They don't tell you that upfront and I needed the money for a real estate transaction Now have to do 5 transations over 10 ? days...WAITING FOR EACH TO CLEAR. I got frustrated with the Fraud Dept, especially after going round and round about the delay in transfers. They have discretion about returning your money, but when I told them I needed it for closing 20 days out they denied the lump sum transfer. Then hung up on me. If you don't mind you money being held hostage..by all means deposit here.
