Hit your credit with hard inquiry only to never contact you again. Creditkarma should be punished for suggesting this bank. They are a joke, i was approved, then nothing ever happened. At best they won't do anything and you can move on.

What a scam of a bank. They fish you in, run your credit, make promises, and....show what a disgrace they are. Do NOT MAKE ANY APPLICATIONS TO THEM or do business. They play on customers! Losers. If you go to them, you have to know that they will fail you!

More than the minimum payment paid toward loan every two weeks, but Jenius constantly shows as "LATE" because of billing cycle. I can't wait to get my loan paid off as EARLY and will never do business again with Jenius nor recommend to anyone.

I wanted to transfer funds and this bank asked me for a statement from other bank. I have never been asked for that from other banks and I wasnt happy to send it. I may just pull out all my money

Easier to use another bank for any real estate or personal loans when high credit scores get declined as we finish a large home improvement. It was easier to use LightStream for a small personal loan for a garage addition than try to use Jenius. Jenius was slow to respond and I had already funded my garage loan at a lower rate than I could find even with a heloc and Jenius stated the high balance on my new loan and recent inquiries as factors. I guess I would not use Jenius again as it was a useless inquiry and after my loan funded my credit dropped to just under 800.

I signed up for an account. They have you enter in the outside bank routing number and account and initiate a transfer before they give you log in credentials. I had researched Jenius Bank's reviews and even Nerd Wallet had written a special piece on Jenius Bank with good reviews. I followed the instructions, saw the email confirming I had an account and initiated a transfer to open my account. Then, you are given the chance to create login credentials. However, Jenius Bank won't let me do that. I get an error and instructions to call. The help center couldn't help. The IT department told me try a different browser. I tried Chrome, Safari, duckduckgo. They told me Duck Duck Go definitely won't work (because they don't allow the blocking). You can't set up your log in on the App. I'm stuck. They have my SSN, details, and another bank's Routing and account info. No one else seems to think this bank is a scam, but I'm not feeling good about this. What would happen if I had needed to access money that was in this HYSA? They can't help when something goes wrong?

If you're not going to approve me and hard hit my credit. Then why counting to ask for more and more information. I carry over a 750 credit score. Have never been denied a loan. Until I applied with These fools.

Horrible please stay away from this bank! The interest rate goes up and you will find yourself overpaying the interest rate and minimum goes to the principle balance. The customer service reps are inexperienced and lie to get you off the phone. I was told I can make minimum payments since I lost my job and turns out, that was a lie. I’m drowning in debt ever since I took a loan from this cult. My credit score dropped 60 points. This is a nightmare! Please be aware YOUR MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENT ALL GOES TO INTEREST!!!! You won’t be paying off your loan for years!!!!!
