I went to jared in Plymouth ma. To repair my wife’s diamond ring , it needed a replacement head, they first tried to sell a new band that I didn’t want or need, they then gave me a price of $640 dollars for the new head that wouldn’t be the same as what was already on there, what a rip off !!!! I then went to a local jeweler in town, they were great they fixed the ring with a brand new head for $120 and had it back in a week. Dont go to jarrod they are crooks

Absolutely the worst customer service. My husband surprised me with an upgrade diamond and new setting. It was a custom setting and we were told about an 8 week process. Well in the 11 weeks they do not respond to email, they lie about delivery dates, they do not return phone calls. I still do not have a ring and they will not allow me to pick up the diamond and take it to another jeweler to set on a ring. It is my diamond that was paid for in full 11 weeks ago. They will not commit to a date i will have a ring. I am filing a police report to obtain my paid for diamond that i have a receipt for. Do not buy anything from the Jared in North Olmstead ohio, do not deal with Hollie the store manager, Alexis a sales person, Sepp, or Amy. The district manager wont help either.

I am very disappointed in Jared. I just found out that a financing plan, a 12 month finance which they set up, was wrong from the start. Now I am being charged additional financing due to their mistake. Or was it a mistake? Jared chose to handle the situation like a big bank would. Jared and Comenity Bank (their financing arm) mislead their customers. You lost me as a customer, forever. I will warn anyone about their business practices and recommend other businesses that actually value their customers.

The quality of the jewelry is horrid. My experience occurred over years. It started with me wanting to by my wife several pieces of nice jewelry (by our standards). I spent close to $1000 dollars on 3 bracelets. My wife at first LOVED them. They were very pretty. Fortunately I bought the "insurance" for them, although this too was a bit of a scam. Within 2 years each piece had broken, so we finally took them in to claim the insurance. Well, 2 of the 3 pieces were "complicated" enough that they couldnt be repaired, but only either "cut out the bad part", making them too small, or replaced, which we did. But guess what, within a 2 more years, all three pieces were again broken, and we again got the same excuses that they couldn't be repaired. My wife decided to abandon going for their jewelry, and just got a name brand watch. I'm glad we got the insurance, but we learned that the quality of their jewelry is horrid. We both now snicker when we see their commercials. If you want junk that will fall apart, by all means, go to Jared. But we refuse to even consider them.

Liars! Any time I go in just to get my ring cleaned there always seems to be a problem! Stones are loose, gold is wearing away, etc. Today I went in with my 2 year old wedding band and was told it needs $461 worth of work. When I said the ring is only 2 years old, the guy made an “uh oh” look. I trusted my gut, went to a small “mom pop” jeweler near me and just as I thought... NOTHING wrong with my ring! No gold wearing away, no major loose stones, nothing! Jared works off of commission and if you don’t buy anything, they still sell you something. And the work that I have had done in the past, looks like crap!!! Never again!!!

I agree with previous posts. Total crap. Rip off. You make your payments on time and they come back after a stupid promotion blah blah blah and now want over $1000 dollars. Never again

While doing some last minute Christmas shopping I decided to stop by Jared in Waldorf, Md. The store was extremely busy, as expected. After waiting a few minutes I was greeted by a gentleman named Paul Zerbian (Inventory Control Manager). Paul was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He helped me pick out the perfect gift for my daughter. I will gladly continue shopping at Jared. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Update: After a long time of talking with the customer support team they decided to refund the entire interest amount. After all they fixed the situation, so i upped the rating to a 2, but i still can't full recommend the company due to this debacle Bought a ring in store and signed up for a promotional 12 month balance. I got the card for the account about a week later, to which i immediately went online and scheduled the automatic payment for remaining balance divided by 12. This is the same process i have done at every other store that i have done a similar process at. Apparently, however, at Jared's they trigger the promotional balance to expire on the actual day the year ends and NOT on the following statement. This is fundamentally different from every store i've ever dealt with. This caused me get charged the interest on the card even though i had an automatic payment coming. Their claim is that they informed me by putting some red text on my paperless statement. This isn't good enough because the entire point of the automatic payments is i don't need to micromanage this account. For this to have ever worked i would have had to change the default billing date by knowing their system was flawed. I would not recommend buying anything at this store, especially if you are going to interact with the promotion in any way. They designed this in a perfect way to screw people over.
