The WORST. HORRIBLE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE POST OFFICE! HORRENDOUS! ONE STAR IS TOO MANY!

I called the phone number 1-800-829-1040 I was on hold the first time for 42 minutes. Just to be put through to a person that could not help me. They sent me to another person which I waited on hold for for 45 minutes just to be hung up on. I tried to call back again and had to wait another 40 minutes just to be told you to call volume they could not accept my call at this time. This is absolutely ridiculous I filed my taxes the end of January and still have not received them. One W-2 one simple return, I cannot even get through to a person to find out what's going on because every time I get put on hold I get disconnected before I get to the next person. You guys seriously need to fix your system because this is ridiculous and I have never experienced such inability to handle a situation. Get it together IRS!!

The ID me verification system is a broken, stupid system that can't verify your identity even if you're yourself. They make you upload sensitive documents to prove that you're yourself to a third party system, when the IRS should be doing all this themselves. This government's a joke, this country is a joke. This President is a joke. All I need to do is change my routing number information because i entered it wrong. And you guys can't even verify that it's me when I'm sending multiple documents of sensitive information. F the IRS.

Scammers they haven't gave me my 2025 tax it's been 4 months now country runs by scammers

Exactly what I expected. Can't reach an actual person with an unusual, unique problem. So over government companies not having to do their jobs. What a joke.

They created there pathetic answering machine to run you in circles so they do not have to answer the phone: 5 months now that I’ve mailed my return in twice and I keep getting notifications it’s never been received do I need to drive it there in person .. so pathetic

The website is awful the assistance Is awful. If this was any regulate company the company would go out of business and go under. Wait times are impossibly long and nobody knows what the heck they are doing when you finally speak to someone
