I love the secure feeling of having the oxygen I need without the bulk of a tank. Just one thing I would improve on is add a belt system of its own, not just the clip, as I have a hard time keeping my pants up as it is ( NO Butt) and the clip provided adds to that

Because I need a "higher liter" machine now - I only use Inogen when I'm driving on long trips with the doctors permission having it set at 3 for driving only. I wish the "liter content" was higher and the machine itself a little lighter, but all in all, it's a great product. It works very well in the car, plugged in and I haven't had any trouble with it.

Service is terrific I really like the unit but I have had a reoccurring problem. This has happened over time with my original unit and 2 replacement units. You will be using the unit and all of a sudden it locks up no warning no lights you just stop getting oxygen. The unit is locked up will not respond to the controls You have to remove the battery for a few seconds then reinstall and it makes whoosing noise like there was air bound up in the machine. This may not occur again for a few weeks or may happen again at any time. It has happened with either battery I have and I find it very annoying. If I have the unit in my backpack the only way I know it has happened is I start to get really short of breath.

This Inogen portable unit has really made a difference in my life as it enables me to shop and go to a lot of events at church and elsewhere that I could not go to with the tanks ! It is well worth the price!

We bought Inogen for my husband because he had Emphysema. We were very satisfied with the equipment and the service. My husband passed away 2 years ago but i have kept the unit in case I ever need it.

If you talk to a good representative when you call they will help. Some of the reps are not so good - I have ended a call and called back several times to get a good rep. Inogen helped me with a problem, eventually sending me a replacement.

I love my Inogen. It gives me such freedom. I ride my bike every day with my Inogen in the basket. Recommend this to anyone who wants to have the freedom to come and go without tanks.
