My new Inogen machine is just OK. It`s VERY heavy, cause I wanted to get the one that would last the longest time on a charge. People there forget that women have to carry purses as well as their machine, making it double the weight/inconvenience. I wish it had a continuous flow option, too, even if it used up more power, for short trips. The only advantages over travel tanks of Oxygen, in my opinion, are airline approval, & rechargeable rather than refillable. Is that worth $3000??? That`s the decision.

I love my Inogen. It has been a huge help getting me out and moving with the assurance I will have oxygen if I need it. No problems with it, everything was explained up front when we bought it, so I have had a positive experience.

I have not had any problems with my Inogen. It is nice to do things without having to much weight on my shoulders,

My Inogen portable condenser has changed my life. I no longer have to haul around several tanks in order to be out of my home for a day. So happy I'll be able to use air travel again with my Inogen.

It does just as you said would. I like it much better than the bottles I had to deal with before. I feel more at ease using the Inogen I, it gives me the freed I was looking for.

I spoke with an Inogen representative named Jack. I was inquiring for my husband about the larger concentrator I saw on the website. I told him that I had contacted my insurance and they would pay for it 100%. He advised he would check and took my info and he would contact me. After 3 weeks, I called, spoke to him and he told me they denied my request, and that he COULDN'T even guarantee I'd get the one my husband wanted. I found out from my contact at my insurance company, he NEVER called - I was not denied! HE LIED!! He wanted ME to shell out the money upfront!! I definitely DON'T want to buy from a company that lies and you can't trust what they tell you! Peggy Pertuset

Update Yesterday I got an email from Inogen asking that I call them to make things right. After calling, I was even more angry than I was to begin with. The lady told me she would send me a new battery because it was still under warranty. Of course it was still under warranty, however, she was acting like she was doing me a favor. I asked if she could get a supervisor to call me. I didn't feel that this was adequate compensation for what I had to deal with. A few minutes ago I got a telephone call from a supervisor who was just just as snotty as the lady was from yesterday. They are great up until you make your purchase, then after that, you are on your own. Anyone reading this, I would strongly recommend that you buy your oxygen concentrator from another company. Any other company. I hate the Inogen Company, I hate this machine. I purchased one from another company at $2,600 and I got a call from the Inogen Company and they said they could sell me one cheaper. The guy told me exactly what to do to mail the other one back. Perfect condition, all of the original stuff. I knew they would charge me a restocking fee, but daaayum, just under $600 seems a bit much. So, with the price of the new one and the restocking fee of the old one, I'm back up to the original $2,600. One of the selling points is that it is so light. Well, it weighs a damn ton. Mine has the big battery on it. I could no more tote that thing around on a shopping trip than I could take wings and fly. It works okay but the battery only lasts about three hours. I guess if I go anywhere for longer than three hours, I'm just supposed to gasp and wheeze the rest of the way. Just gotta love it!!!
