Great unit my only complaint is that it is easy to crimp off tubing because of connector location if it was on side or bottom of unit I think it would diminish if not eliminate the problem

It makes more noise than I thought and the batteries do not last as long as they said. the batteries loose power even when not in use. I tried to call C/S and after being on hold for 8 minutes I gave up.

This machine is over rated. The commercials seen on TV only exploits the potential customer to think you can take this thing anywhere. You cannot be in the heat with it. So you spend your summers indoors or where the temperature is cool. The other thing, the life of any of the batteries that fit the machine is short. So if you are a woman please take a purse big enough to carry extra batteries, make sure you have a car charger with you, you will need it to recharge one of the batteries on your way home from shopping and make sure you take you in-house charger with you if you have a doctor's appointment. The machine looks cute, however the manufacturer needs to go back to the drawing board and re-invent this machine. It is no where worth the price that is being asked for the machine. It needs to have a battery that charges quicker than 8 hours and the battery, especially the large one needs to have a longer life. Please go back to the drawing board on this machine. You will have a wonderful machine if you do. Also see if the machine can be more weather savy as far as temperature.

Batteries do not hold a charge for long after charged. By this I mean two weeks. We had to replace our unit when it stopped working after a couple of months. It was hardly used as we have a home unit as well but was going to go on a trip. We tried it and a censor failed so it had to be replaced. It was replaced but for the price of this equipment there should not be problems like these. Kind of scared if we do need to go somewhere. JH

I have used my Inogen G5 unit a few times and I am more than pleased with it! Simple to use and about the same weight as one of my small bottles of oxygen. I get about three times of usage time from one of my double batteries!!! I bought it mainly for overnight travel and it frees me up! I still use my oxygen bottles furnished through VA but use my Inogen about three times a month to keep the moving parts active! It is nice not to be worried about running out of oxygen. I love the fact that I have a second battery and I can also change the G5 unit in my car while I am driving! The Inogen G5 unit is just one fantastic unit!!! Thank you!!!!

I like the Inogen portable concentrator, especially when I need to leave my car and enter a shopping facility. Prior to having a portable unit, it was nearly impossible for me to do any shopping, or even go into a restaurant to eat, because I was constantly running out of breath. When resting to catch my breath, people would stop and ask if I was OK. It was embarrassing to have to say "just catching my breath". Now I feel more in charge of my activities and do things I could not do prior to Inogen.

Our overall view of the Inogen is excellent however I am having one problem. When I turn the machine on it will not give me the overall percentage of the battery level.
