Pure quality with two exceptions
this is a very fine machine. The only things for which I have a problem, is the price and the weight of the machine. Other than those two factors, it is everything I feel it should be.

I am able to catch my breath faster and get less tired using continuous flow oxygen bottles. The main reason I bought Inogen was that I wouldn’t have to worry about running out of oxygen and was portable. But the pulse oxygen I just don’t like. Carrying the Inogen over my shoulder, especially with the larger battery, also makes my shoulder and neck hurt and it is very cumbersome to work around for things like gardening. Not worth the $2,600 I paid in my opinion.

My shortness of breath came on very rapidly. It was a side effect of immunotherapy and a paralyzed left diaphragm caused by a since shrunken tumor which impinged upon the phrenic nerve, the one that controls the diaphragm. I was a naive patient when a pulmonologist prescribed supplementary at home oxygen. I thought if I could cut the tether between me and my home oxygen concentrator I could go back to activities I had only too recently enjoyed such as hiking, biking and skiing. So I bought an Inogen 5, back pack and all. Those activities were no more possible with Inogen than without. Inogen is capable of little more than comfort at rest—DOING NOTHING—which is the goal conventional at home oxygen. Unless one is lucky enough to medically improve the fundamental pulmonary problem, Inogen is not going to get the job done. I do find my Inogen handy for travel, car trips to the doctor and time spent waiting for doctors.

I rate it this way because my clock is way off and after over 10 trys of getting to customer service I called Mary the lady who sold it to me. She requested customer service to get back to me almost a month ago and still nothing. I work and can't sit here forever waiting.Makes me wonder what would happen if I needed to get ahold of you. After gettinhg your response I guess you can't read either.

Hello I have severe to moderate COPD and before I got this I was having a lot of problems with my doctor even getting me portable oxygen I guess I finally passed the test when my oxygen got down to 78 I guess the idiot thought that or maybe he does need some oxygen idiot but anyhow I got the inogen I don't know what model it is it's a portable one I think a five but it is extremely nice and helps tremendously but being portable and it puts out really good premium oxygen definitely makes you breathe better

I love my portable oxygen concentrator, it's easy enough for me to carry. I charge it while driving so it's always fully charged. It's lightweight. What I don't like is the noise it makes every 10 seconds. When you're somewhere very quiet, the noise is very loud and annoying, kind of embarrassing actually.

James who sold us the machine was so helpful and understanding and a great help in getting it to us as soon as possible. First one was defective and was replaced quickly. Great company to deal with. Always go through the Company and not through any where else. Great understanding help diirectly through the Imogen company
