I had ordered this product after multiple physical therapy sessions due to a bulging disc. I was not getting enough relief from my pain and wanted to try a home-based option. I found this Hugterra to be exactly what I was looking for. The ability to adjust settings to create multiple massage techniques was very helpful. After 10 weeks of use, I have very little neck discomfort and I still use this product as a way to loosen up any stiffness I have. Very happy with this product

I ordered the Hugterra on May 20th and it still has not arrived. I have sent a few emails to the company asking why it is taking so long. I have not received any reply’s. When I check the shipping it shows that it is in Chicago since June 10th. Update-as soon as I posted this review I heard from the company and they are trying to figure out what the hold up is. I will update as soon as I receive the Hugterra. Hopefully I can give them a 5 star soon.

I am a 64 year old woman and have been dealing with neck pains for many years due to car accident in my youth. I have been to Orthopedic Surgeons, Chiropractors, Massage and Physical Therapy with no success. I am in love with my massager and it has help tremendously in my recovery. Best purchase I have made in a long time for neck relief!

Ok apparently the company doesn’t want unhappy customers. Their customer service reached out & was willing to accommodate my disappointment. So am giving them 5 stars for displaying a reasonable amount of concern. In the event they do not follow thru; you better believe that I will make it known! Frankly, I am underwhelmed. I get a LOT of neck tension which often morphs into migraine. The instructions are confusing but I think I figured it out finally. The heat is a mute issue for me (I do better w/cold). The ems feels somewhat soothing oddly enough-but I still don’t understand if there are any magnetic components in this device-which would be super helpful to know. As far as the massage mode-it felt more like vibration than massage in reality. Very annoying & I am pretty sure it would aggravate my head more. But the biggest conundrum is the remote which was included (that requires some kind of battery & this was not disclosed during purchase.) The remote would have been much more comfortable for controlling it -rather thanfumbling on the side of the unit to change the settings. Problem is-neither I or my husband could get the darn thing open to even see what type of battery is required! We fumbled w/it between the 2 of us for close to an hour. Tried following the tiny diagram on it to push & open (after removing the plastic sheet) When that didn't work we tried ignoring the diagram-but either way-there is no getting it open! I would appreciate some assistance, so on the rare occasions that I think the ems might help; I could @ least use that w/out the added hassle of fiddling w/the controls while already in an agitated state. So far I have gotten NO help from customer service & apparently returns are @ cost to buyer & need to be sent to BELGIUM! Also' the included battery lasts about a year'-really? Not pleased considering the price. Oh & couldn’t help but notice that 1 or 2 star reviews are just published as ‘would not recommend’ Also they may be affiliated w/another duplicate site under a different name. Forgot to mention that the booklet says charging could take SIX hours. Thankfully the unit was charged when it arrived.
