Hubble is a great lens option - but SO MUCH PLASTIC WASTE
Hubble is great. The contacts don't dry as quickly on my eyes as other brands, they arrive promptly and their customer care is solid. I love not having to think about ordering them every few months! My biggest concern, and the only reason I might start looking for other options is the sheer volume of plastic waste generated by throwaway contact one-a-day lenses. It's mind-boggling. I wish there was some eco-friendly alternative available, or biodegradable/compostable individual packages for lenses. Even the Nespresso model of offering mailing bags with the lenses in which you can return the lenses for recycling at the Hubble facility is far preferable to just sending it all to landfill.

I’m so happy to hear that you’re loving the lenses, although I understand that you are concerned about the environmental impact that the trash from daily lenses will result in. We are doing what we can to provide fresh and clean daily lenses while keeping the environment in mind. Our materials are all 100% recyclable.
