Bought a pro boat. Really like it. Bought the new miss gieco. Haven't run it yet. These boats aren't cheap! Try to get a replacement drain plug or grommet. You cant! They dont sell them! Moron in customer service tells me they are insignificant parts. Really? Cant run the boat without a plug!The boats take on water everytime you use it so you have to pull the plug to drain it! He tells me to stick a shop vac in there. What a stupid response! Plug a shop vac on at the lake?I lost the plug ,cant buy it! I had them made! Now I need the grommet, cant buy one! Dont buy pro boat or anything from these clowns! Miss gieco is going back in the box and being returned after this experience with customer service!

I have been a customer with Horizon for a very long time before they became as large as they are today. Their customer service has always been second too none and I’m my opinion remains that way. I guess if I had one complaint is they do not allow all items too be ordered on line I understand why they do this but it’s hard too make a purchase when your closest hobby shop is over a hour away and they often times do not have what I would have purchased had I been able too order online.

For me this is one outstanding company they have helped me out many times when I had a problem with one of my rc planes they are so helpful and they talk very loud to this old hard hearing 72 year old man..... Hank Langford

My husband recieved an rc plane for his birthday in Oct.from the kids, they didnt realise that it didnt come with the transmitter or reciever till we recieved it. The kids then ordered the rest of the stuff for Christmas at which time shortly after he started to put the plane together and found some of the wiring was miss labeled and when he tried to hook up to the radio the controls were off or opposite of what the directions were saying it to be and no switches to correct the problem. We took it to to our friend who has alot more experience with rc planes to see if he could help with getting it together after looking at what we had an the issues he suggested we contact horizon hobbies to see if we could exchange it. When calling in to see if we could exchange the plane and radio due to these problems we were told returns had to be within 30 days and unopened, how do you know if there's an issue with anything till you open and start assembling? We thought they would stand behind their products as our friend had said they were always accommodating with any issues he's had. When I spoke with tech support all i got was well have your husband call and we'll walk him through the issues, my husband works 10hr days and they dont have support people on the weekends. Not a good experience!!!

Purchased TWO Vaterra RC trucks as Christmas presents. Dealt with a sales representative on the phone to place the order. Paid extra shipping cost (normally free within USA) to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Received my shipment on time but what was not mentioned to Grandma at the time of purchase was that the batteries and the charger were not included. She understood that the trucks were as quoted by the sales rep "Ready to Go". Trucks arrived on time and put under the tree with great excitement....which turned to sadness on Christmas morning as the grand kids could not use their new RC trucks. The boys read the instructions and noted that the batteries and charger were not included so went on line to order them only to find that the batteries were available but the charger was back ordered to mid Feb.....now what poor customer service is that. Sell something that you know the customer can't use for a month in a half. When Horizon Hobby was notified, no apology was offered simply a return slip to ship the product back to them. Would not recommend this business. Christmas mayhem could have been avoided if sales rep had been upfront and mentioned charger was not available...

My boyfriend & I ordered a classifier from them through Amazon. It supposedly shipped out the following day. It's been over 9 days & still nothing. No one contacted us regarding the shipping. We thought it was being delivered via Fed Ex. After researching this, we discovered the mail carrier was delivering it. Expected delivery was June 19-22 & now we read it will come tomorrow, the 23rd. Okay first off let me Begin by saying that I've been into the modeling hobby for aircraft for over 40 years I have been very faithful to Spektrum radios and the any link systems for the Spektrum radios however I have called and talked to multiple peoples as to why when I bought my new DX7 that the adapter cords for the any link from the any link module to the transmitter does not fit and nobody can ask me or give me the proper information as to why. I have several planes that are set up on that any link transmitter module and I hate to have to go out and buy a brand spanking new one even though I did purchase a new adapter cord that they said would fit and it does not know I have to
