Been a loyal Spektrum, losi, otherwise horizon hobby product loyal for better part of 15 years. I recently purchased an 800 dollar dx6r missing the charging flap. Some clown named Rick from horizon couldn't care less, and was prepared to charge me top dollar for the product and shipping from the US, mind you a part no bigger than a dime. I loved the products but slowly boycotting them in favor of futaba and traxxas kits - as much as I loved losi, eflight, spektrum this really disgruntled me to the core.

I must totally agree with the last review dating two days ago, sorry to have forgotten his name. I try or tried to program the AR636 into Safe mode. The instruction manual says that i can use any channel from 5 to 9 use if they are free. Tough luck! They do not say how. I am using the Spektrum Programmer 3.3 and find no possibility to do it. HH sinks way below Hobby King, (The manual refers to Thunderbird F-16). Should anybody have a solution for me, I would gratefully accept it.

HH used to be such a great company, when it was employee owned. Now, CS sucks, shipping sucks, and non one knows what is going on. They recycle the same concepts every so often, generally pushing lower quality gear for the same price than they used to sell. They once championed Spektrum radios, one TX to rule them all, but now they hock cheap proprietary tx's with all their kit. Gone are the days of "Bind-and-fly" or "Bind-and-drive". Worst thing, they are quickly becoming a monopoly in the business, even though they were always dominant in the US market. This is a classic example of a company that is only growing via acquisition, not organic growth, and they are failing to consolidate the previously independent entities into a cohesive whole.

Habe eine kleine UMX Cirrus SR22T BNF Basic (EFLU5950) gekauft. Der HR-Servo hatte Aussetzer. Schließlich flog die Maschine mit vollem Tiefenruderausschlag in den Boden. Keinen Ersatz dafür bekommen. Nicht kaufen!

Habe vor über einer Woche zwei Servicetickets geöffnet, bis dato keine Rückmeldung, trotz zweimaliger Urgenz auf deren Facebookseite !

GONE! The Horizon Hobby I used to know probably a decade ago is GONE. I get a new A-10 for my birthday last year. It never really flies right. I finally realize the rudder servo is sticking. I put in the warranty claim less than a year after my birthday. They say it's not covered. I say, "what, why wouldn't it be...it never flew right?" This is their response: "Horizon Hobby, LLC, (Horizon) warrants to the original purchaser that the product purchased (the “A-10”)will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the date of purchase. Once the item is removed from the packaging and tested and found to be in working order, the warranty has been fulfilled. Thank you, Alisha G. Technician-Product Support" This is a BS warranty and they know it. HH used to say, "We're really sorry you're not loving our product--we're sending a new one [or a new part] out right now." Crap product that never worked like it should have. Crap warranty and crap customer service. They know better. I've been flying for over 30 years. I've been a HH supporter for most of those years. NO MORE. So many comparable products out there these days.

They suck every plane I've bought from them always has a problem. The worst customer support ever. Will never buy from them because they don't back up what's on their web site absolutely crap, won't ever recommend them. There crap and they know it.

Very helpful customer service. Had my ECX Ruckus 1/18 scale rear differential break after a couple uses, I called them, They sent out a brand new one out to me for free the next week. If there was more than five stars I would for surely give Horizon hobby more stars. I am very happy with the employees. Very helpful. Thank you Horizon Hobby!
