Well I was feed the same types of lies. We went to several of their Members meetings were all they did was to try and up-sale you into buying more. We (my wife and I) are on a limited budget. We told them this. They said this is not a problem, you can transfer you points to IHG then move them back when you want to use them. Well here is this problem. they charge you $99 each time you transfer out to IHG, and my understanding in order for you to move them back in you have to go through a bunch of pooh-pooh. Last year I made reservations for a trip for my wife and I for this year. Well one of there sales people called me and said I need to go to a members meeting. I mentioned that I will go to the on where I have a booking. they said, No No, you need to go sometime this year. I said fine and they booked us for a weekend. Well to come to 2024 and found out that they canceled the reservation we made at the other location. And when I tried to rebook. They were all booked/blocked. Regardless of whom I talked too they said sorry we can't do anything to fix the issue. They were able to see where I had it booked, and when it was removed. Sneaky little devils' they are, So we are still going to our destination but not staying at a Holiday Inn Club Vacations. This is a buyers remorse. For all the taxes and maintenance fees they charge me, and I can not even stay at their locations. What a joke!

Nothing but lies. They will say anything to get the sale, but do not honor what is said. Obviously I should have checked their reviews before giving them money. My mistake.

If you want to be lied to then talk to them about a resort visit. They will say anything to get your credit card number and once gotten then they play dumb. If and when you get a refund it takes weeks. They are able to debt your account in hours and take weeks to return it. Stay away people.

My wife and I recently attended a presentation at Holiday Inn Club Vacations, and I must say, it was an experience I deeply regret. We went into the presentation confident that we could resist any sales pitch, but unfortunately, the salesperson we encountered was exceptionally skilled at her job. From the moment we stepped into the presentation room, we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed, which in hindsight, was part of their strategy to keep us engaged. Despite our arrogant belief that we were too savvy to be sold on a timeshare, we found ourselves unable to walk away at several points during the presentation. The sales tactics employed were so persuasive that we were unwittingly drawn into their scheme. What's particularly frustrating is that we ended up willingly going into extra debt just to make the down payment. The salesperson managed to convince us to apply for the IHG credit card, conveniently coinciding with the exact amount needed for the down payment. Looking back, it's clear that this was a deliberate tactic to push us into making a decision we weren't fully comfortable with. Furthermore, the promises made during the presentation were far from reality. The resort amenities and accommodations touted as luxurious were lackluster at best, and the overall value for money simply wasn't there. It's evident that Holiday Inn Club Vacations prioritizes sales over delivering a genuinely satisfying experience to its customers. Moreover, the availability of rooms at desired resorts was abysmal. Despite being promised access to a wide range of destinations, we consistently found that the resorts we wanted were never available when we tried to book. The "ambassadors" assigned to help us plan our trips seemed clueless and unhelpful, merely directing us to the same website we could access ourselves. Their lack of expertise was frustrating and made the process more cumbersome. Adding insult to injury, partner sites offered through the Holiday Inn Club Vacations program often required points as well as additional fees, ultimately costing us just as much as booking independently. It became clear that the perks promised by the program were not worth the added expense and hassle. We went to the presentation hubristically expecting that we would decline all sales pitches and enjoy a cheap vacation. Instead, we were total marks. Not only did we buy a useless timeshare, we went into extra debt to do it! I would strongly advise anyone considering attending a presentation at Holiday Inn Club Vacations to proceed with caution. Don't let the charming sales tactics fool you into making a decision you will regret. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale, and I sincerely hope others can learn from our mistake.

I own a timeshare that is now owned by holidsybinn vacation club The response to my issue had been ignored for months. Do not, I repeat do not buy a timeshare with this company

Holiday Inn timeshares are a waste of money, do not attend their meetings if you can avoid it. You can live without the free trip, you probably won’t be able to use the voucher anyway because of all the red tape and hoops you have to jump through. The meeting will NOT be 90 minutes like they say, we were stuck there for a minimum of 5 hours and I had two male salesmen looming over me the whole time. I felt like they were being intimidating and overwhelming me with information intentionally. It is not a good environment to be in. Not only did they never give me time alone to think or discuss this with my spouse, but we’ve also learned that the information they were pushing isn’t true at all. They told us we could use it anytime because we were investing in a home, not a hotel room, that we would own, and our ownership could be used to vacation anywhere else we wanted to go as well. I 110% would never recommend this. Everytime I try to find dates and locations, there is nothing available. I have been checking for months and months. Not even the “home” location they said I invested in. I supposedly own a vacation home and I can’t access it at all. Despite my alleged ownership status there are also a bunch of other hidden fees to use it neither of the salesmen disclosed to us. If you have money to burn, maybe this is for you, but if you are looking for good vacation options this is NOT IT. They hide the fact that you can easily cancel and get your money back within a few days!

This has been excellent for my family. We have used it for vacations that overall might not have been affordable for my family. Now the kids are older. Daughter is 27 and is using it more and more. My son being the youngest at 17 now we are using it alittle differently and getting more adult vacations in cities and outdoorsy. Been to Mexico and Caribbean more in recent years along with Nashville, Austin etc.

This is a scam and a cult. LIARS!!! 😡😡. Won't let you out of the deal. Kept us all day at the tall at Pigeon Forge. Lied about checking credit. EVERYBODY qualifies for a loan they can't afford. Tried to cancel the next day and they won't. Have to change banks to get away from this CULT. RUN!!!!
