Biggest mistake. Bought in 2015 with the draw being we could convert the points to RCI. In 10 years have used it 3 times and not for lack of trying. At one point I asked "when and where in the next 6 months can I use these points anywhere in the US Caribbean or Mexico? The answer was nowhere. We were told could redeem for airline miles or cruise discounts LIE. The maint fee goes up and I have to pay 1200 to get rid of it Biggest mistake

Do not EVER think that this is a deal!!
We have owned a Holiday Inn timeshare since 2018 and wish we had never bought it! The resorts are concentrated in the south and east, making it hard to get to from the west. They don't take dogs, which means we can't use the resorts since our old dog needs to be with us. RCI seemed like a real gift until we realized that we have to pay a ton PLUS points to use it. The maintenance fees have climbed almost 25% in the last 6 years. The real kicker is that we will have to pay $1200 just to give the timeshare back, losing all points the minute we initiate the process, plus it takes 12 - 16 weeks to do, so we ae still in debt for next year's maintenance fee. A true rip off.

Just dont do it
If you are offered a membership with them for their vacation club dont do it!! it is nothing but a scam. Then to really be stupid they offered a weekend for 99 dollars to any club so bought that. Now they want an additional 59 dollars a night to use it... Hard scam dont buy!!

Terrible experience
Wow! This was a really bad experience!!
I travel solo and because I was previously married, they were really rude to me and wouldn’t sell me a timeshare! They said my abusive ex needed to be there! They don’t care about you and instead they charged my credit card $300!!
From the get go I let them know I am a single traveler.
This is a total scam to try to get you to stay at the property and then charge you full price. I paid over $500 for 2 nights.

Defeated, Disappointed, in Debt. Don't do it!
I am writing this review to express our disappointment with Holiday Inn. The repeated misinformation, high-pressure sales tactics, and lack of transparency of what we had purchased is unacceptable! Had we been provided with copies of our contracts when we made the purchase, we would have been able to review everything. Instead, we had to rely on the information relayed by their employees, which was never accurate.
This began when we booked a Spring break trip at the Holiday Inn Express in Williamsport, VA. We were invited to tour the nearby resort. The presenter showed us all the places we could visit and said there were no blackout days for booking. He mentioned how easy it was for other families he had helped to sign up. We were told the timeshare would increase in value and be simple to manage. We decided to make the purchase. What was supposed to be a 60-minute presentation stretched into a five-hour meeting.
After booking our first vacation at Orange Lake, we were informed we had to attend a 60-minute owner update meeting. When booking this stay, we realized we had been misled about blackout days—the level of points determines how early you can book a vacation. They offered us more points and took us on a tour to see all the resort’s amenities. Despite declining multiple offers, we eventually upgraded to 150k points. The pressure got to us and we left feeling defeated.

I bought into their scam years ago in…
I bought into their scam years ago in Williamsburg, VA, with their promises of a huge water park coming such as Great Wolf Lodge. Years went by no water park and many more broken promises and found they loss a class action lawsuit. Went to sell back and was offered zero. Paid a company $4,000 to sell and they couldn't even unload it for me. My grandchildren are now grown. The one time I did use their service I was furious when I found other establishments in the area I stayed had oceanfront rooms for cheaper than what I paid for being a "member". I tell everyone buying a timeshare it's a major ripoff that should be banned from being in business. I just paid my yearly dues 10/29/2024 of over $1,400 and when I called was informed the extra dues were for upgrades on their facilities. I laughed and said "what upgrades?"

I’m pretty sure this is an…
I’m pretty sure this is an organizational scam with the intention to keep the collected fees.
During our initial sales discussion, I told the gentleman that we are a family of 5- and we have 3 children. He enthusiastically signed us up at Lake Tahoe. When I called to schedule the trip the rep informed me that all of the resorts except Vegas only accommodated 4 and we need to pay for an additional room to schedule.
I was on hold spoke with another representative who refused to transfer me to the sales rep (who had previously suggested we call if we have any issues with the reservation)…. Afterwards, she apologized and said to call her back the following day and she would “figure it out”
We ended up telling her we needed 5 spots but we could try to do something when our eldest was away during the summer.
We scheduled Galveston. As the news announced the Galveston severe storms, we called to cancel. The rep informed us that all the resorts would still be open and we would be charged for changes.(Boooooo) We left it until days before the storms hit and we had no choice but to cancel. We decided to move forward with the Vegas option since we were told that was the only option for our family size. We attempted to schedule and the rep says now they can only accommodate 4….and we need to pay for a separate room to schedule…So frustrating. I asked for a refund and explained that the representative deceived us because we told him during the process that we are a family of five. They declined our refund request.

Terrible experience with the tour
Terrible experience with the tour. I was told that I would have to bring my gf, we are not married, to the tour who came on the trip with me, which we were fine with and had made plans for her to be off of work it. After calling a few days before the trip because of some questions I had, I had asked again if my gf had to be at the tour and was told no because we were not married, so I had sent an email right after to confirm this and it was confirmed. So I show up to the tour and explained what the situation was, showed the email and they decided to move forward with the tour. After a 2 hour long sales pitch with the sales manager I did not move forward and was promised a $150 following the tour. After the tour I was told I did not qualify because my gf did not come along, so they made me go through the whole process hoping I would buy, to just tell me what I was actually there for (the $150), I could not get. The option I was given was do to another tour, but crazy enough, we were going to have to cut into another vacation day, there were no more tours available for the time we were on vacation so there was no way to do it again. Then I was told the best they could do was not charge the whole room amount to me and that was it. Very disappointed in this experience and I would never buy a timeshare or anything from these people.
