The product installs easily, and it's kind of amazing to watch it in action. The app seems "buggy", however, and I had to try many, many times to connect the bridge to the app, despite following the directions carefully. I'm still not sure what was different the time it finally connected. I must have timed out and hit 'refresh' 30 times before it worked. Overall, it's a very nice addition to the suite of smart home products that I'm connecting to my Alexa devices. I ordered one just to test it out, and I've already decided to order two more units. I was very happy to know that I don't have to recalibrate the upper and lower shade position each time I charge the battery. I'm sure these products will be refined over time. Since they are rather pricey, I hope Ryse will offer a substantial discount to current customers when they eventually release the next generation of smart shade devices.

Great experience with the website, selecting products and the check out process. Email update on shipping was on point. Welcome emails on how to get started where a plus also. Good job to the company so far. Now I just wish you would make more products to control various types of curtains and blinds.

great concept! unfortunately, two issues have come up. first, even with the cord loop accessory, the ryse does not work as reliably with a corded shade versus a metal bead shade. there ends up being a lot of variation with the height that the shade will go up to in the "100% open" position. i think this is because the cord slips intermittently as the ryse rotates. the second issue, and much more frustrating one, is that the smartbridge is always disconnecting from my wifi despite being connected by the ethernet cable and therefore it does not work consistently with our google home. this is by far the most frustrating part of the whole product. hoping that others are not having similar issues.

The ordering was very easy and the shipment came just as promised.
