Bonsai makes it simple to track hours and invoice clients. Their Proposal and Contract tools make it super easy to turn clients from leads into paying customers. There are a couple of small UX things I have issue with on their site (being a web developer makes me extra picky about stuff like this), but they seem to be continuously iterating and improving. Overall, a well rounded freelancer tool.

I use Bonsai to track my project hours when working with clients. If I don't get them into a system, I forget and it becomes a mess. Their system is easy to use, produces clean invoices and allows me to keep track of multiple clients and payments. I highly recommend it to anyone having to bill clients for hours worked.

I've been using Bonsai for over a year, and I'm overall happy with it. Automatic expense synchronization is very helpful, as well as accounting. I wish there were some extra features, like a scheduling option for example, so I don't have to use external platforms for it. The support is usually helpful and responsive.

It's affordable - As a freelancer and a start-up company, I don't have much capital to work with, so they made their prices super competitive compared to other apps, and had features that I will need for my business. Features were also great - From invoicing to time and tasks tracking, and even forms and automation creations. It was the hub for me to keep all my finances in track. One thing I would like to be included worldwide is the Bonsai Cash, this way, I don't have to juggle two finance applications, where I can just have everything on Bonsai instead. Understand that this takes time to develop, so I will definitely be waiting for this!

I'm a solo freelancer and have been using Bonsai for contracts between me and my clients AND between me and my subcontractors. It's really good from both sides as well as sending NDAs before work starts. It's an affordable and easy-to-use solution for a start-up business.
