I have been with Bonsai for a bit over a year. Overall, it's a great service for freelancers, and has really helped me to get my business off the ground. I needed a way to send proposals, get contracts signed, and take care of invoicing/payments. Bonsai has really helped to make that easy, so I can focus on other areas of the business! There is room for improvement. The service is reliable and I haven't had any issues, but there are additional features that I've been hoping to see for a while. The company does seem to be committed, however, to growing their product. They have released quite a few new features over the past year and they appear to listen to their customers and take suggestions. To summarize, I think Bonsai gives you the core essentials you need, for a very competitive price. They're an actively growing product and offer some nice flexibility that you don't necessarily get with some of the other big-name platforms.
