BonsaiReviews of hellobonsai.com

Great product allowing me to handle project management, accounting and create proposals for leads all from one system. Their excellent customer support and continued software improvements makes Bonsai's SaaS an essential part of my digital agency.

I love using Bonsai although I must admit that I have yet to explore all of its functionality! There's SO much good stuff going on... Also, tbf, being mindful of keeping costs down some functions would require a change in subscription type/costs. That stuff is not always so easy to find out or transparent. My son and daughter-on-law recommended Bonsai to me when I launched my micro business a year ago. So grateful they did. Responses to any tech issues are prompt and have always given immediate solutions/resolution. You're kept in the loop with new developments with 'how to's' via email. Bonsai team frequently check in to make sure all is well. Bonsai staff are friendly, polite and oh so competent.

Great platform, was slightly concerned how hard it would be to use - but actually very surprised, intuitive with a great bunch of functions.

I have used Bonsai for over two years to manage my freelance writing business. The time tracking, project proposal and contract forms, and invoicing tools have been a game changer. I no longer waste time creating things from scratch, manually entering my work time into a Google sheet, or searching for what to have in a proposal or contract. There are so many more useful tools in Bonsai and I look forward to using them as my business grows.

Hello Bonsai has been instrumental in optimizing my business operations. Its user-friendly proposals, forms, contracts, and invoicing tools have saved me considerable time. The onboarding process has become more efficient, and I no longer have to follow up with clients for payments because the automated system takes care of it. With less time spent on administrative tasks, I can devote more time to creative work.

I have been experiencing a similar situation to the other 1-star reviews. I have not been able to access funds earned for over a month, and even though I've received email confirmation that my identity has been verified, I can no longer send out invoices. They even logged into my account (I received an email notifying me of a login attempt) without informing me. It is working on day 3 with zero communication from customer support. Re: There was no confusion over the security process; I followed the steps and received confirmation that it was successful, and all holds were lifted from my account. Even after this verification confirmation, I was not able to access funds or send invoices. It took nearly 3 days afterward to hear from anyone to get help, and even then, they still imposed a waiting period to access my funds, which I had to argue my way out of.

I am a freelance writer with only one client. Bonsai helps me track my hours and sends invoices for me all in one spot, which I really appreciate. I do wish that it was easier to track how much time I put into specific tasks *each month and each year.* That level of analytics isn't available. I have Bonsai automatically send my invoices at the end of the month, but I wish that Bonsai could add in another piece of automation to add unbilled hours before sending. Currently, this isn't something I'm able to 100% delegate, and I wish this were an option.

The service is really great and has some perks that other services don't offer. the support is really good too, however it is plagued by some major and minor bugs across its app and web interfaces.
