This review is for H‑E‑B Pharmacy in Burleson TX. I needed a prescription transferred from Walgreens in Crowley. They took care of this for me on a Sunday on the same day. I greatly appreciate this as I was out of this medication. This is one of many great customer service examples in the short period of time I have experienced in the short period of time I have been using this pharmacy.

The nerve!
I greeted & asked the young male employee behind seafood counter where the sockeye salmon could be found. He did not hear so I repeated a little louder. Again, he did not hear. So I raised my voice. His response was, "It's right in front of you, don't you see it? Are you blind?" I told him he should not be rude and he responded, "You too and your mom."
The nerve!! I told a manager asap & she appeared aghast when I told her, indeed, I am legally blind.

HEB isn’t what it once was
HEB isn’t what it once was. I’ve shopped there my entire life. No more. The service and customer support is terrible. If you file a complaint to corporate, they pass the buck to the store manager who will place the blame on you. HEB needs a cultural change.

Harassment at HEB
Two days ago, I made a report to your customer service representative about an embarrassing and highly irritating experience I had in your store located at 10100 Beechnut in Houston, Texas.
The person I spoke to was female. She got my phone number, my name and my email address and promised to have some members of her team reach out to me. Nobody has done so. I do not care about that. What I do not want is a repeat of what I experienced.
I had gone to your store. It was about 7:00 in the evening (pm). I made purchases totalling just over $33:00 ( thirty three dollars).
I paid with my card, a mastercard. I have my receipt. My transaction took place at 7:30 pm. My items were bagged. I had some in bags in a basket I shopped with. Other bags were held with my right hand.
I had a few extra bags. I headed toward the exit door. My intention was to rebag my items properly at the basket stand adjacent to the exit door.
I stopped next to the baskets and was about to place my basket on top of the others when I noticed a young female staff out of breath standing beside me. She had been running after me, apparently. I was curious. So I asked her what was wrong.
She instructed me not to take the shopping basket out of the exit door. I assured her that I had no intention too. She could see that my basket was on top of the heap of other baskets in the self checkout area. I began to arrange my items in the extra bags I had with me.
But the young female staff would not leave. She stood beside me and repeated what she had just said over and over. I was beginning to get impatient. At this point a woman, Hispanic and apparently the female staff's superior approached us muttering something.
It then became clear to me that the young female staff was sent after me by that woman, her superior whom I had encountered in that store in two separate incidents that occured in previous visits to the store. I was quite upset.
I made my feelings known to that woman. I did not want to have anything to do with her. She was walking toward us. She took my advice to keep away and turned back.
I felt embarrassed. Suddenly I was a subject of interest to customers and HEB workers alike. People were under the impression that something was wrong. Yet I was only an ordinary shopper like any other. And I had not done anything wrong.
I was upset not only for this reason but because that same woman had caused me embarrassment in that store on two previous occasions. She is in the habit of stalking me and sending staff after me. For no reason.
I am black African. Whites and hispanic visitors to that store do not go through my kind of experience. After I left the store, I called to speak to the Store Manager. His name, I suppose, starts with an H.
That Store Manger did not make things better when I complained that I felt I was being profiled. He did nit share my view. Rather he was persuading me to forgive the action of his staff because his store was a "high theft store". And that whatever took place happened because I was "making a move toward the door".
Whatever he meant, what he was trying to insinuate or imply, I still cannot fathom. Well, I told him, I am a citizen of the United States of America. I am protected by the constitution. I will not tolerate profiling or harassment by staff of HEB. I promised to take legal action if this happens to me again in an HEB store. I believe I will.

HEB S.Mason Katy
I generally use the location on pin oak, due to on going issues at s.mason location. I needed to grab a few a things and ran in. The store smelt like rotted fish. The veggie dept had molded tomatos and rotted lettuce. Some bread products expired. I had to leave could not tolerate the smell any longer. I understand they are up dating the refrigeration, but continue on Maintaining your store.
This is a health issue. Fruit flies all over vegi dept. I brought it an employees attention and he stated he couldn't help not his department. Another shopper next to me made the comment of how the store has gone down.

This POS store hates truck drivers!!!
When I’m in Laredo, Tx. and I need groceries I shop at H.E.B. cause they have great prices and a large selection but apparently they don’t like truck drivers cause they said ‘we are getting so many truckers at this location that the customers driving cars are complaining about them so we no longer will be allowing you to park here to shop’, so security tells you to leave or they will tow your vehicle. Well I have complaints about to many cars in the parking lot so let’s ban the cars from parking here too!! If H.E.B., which is based out of San Antonio, Texas, doesn’t want truckers to shop at there location’s maybe H.E.B. should tell the truckers not to haul there groceries to the warehouses!!!! That’s fine H.E.B. I’ll take my $150 every week and go shop at Walmart cause I know they will more than appreciate my business!!

Lifelong texan and heb shopper here
Lifelong texan, heb employee of 22 years and heb shopper here. First off they have scrubbed the internet/google reviews of the ability to criticize them. Their heb frozen vegetables are beyond low quality, they opt for the lowest quality im assuming to save the consumer and themselves money, but plan on trashing a third of the frozen produce upon cooking. Inedible fibrous stalks of broccoli ,hard corn and peppers. Dont waste your money there, even walmart had better offerings. Their heb brand products are all EXTREMELY HIGH in sodium and preservatives. If you are food conscious read the labels. They prey on the uninformed, and if you care about what your family eats and your food budget then pay close attention to what you buy there. They also use sneeaky tactics in their coupobs and deals that will leave you paying more for products under the guise of a deal if making a multiple product purchase or 2 for deal.
