My husband and I went before closing. The cashier said that the broom we were buying was broken so I went to exchange it for a good one. The person closing was so rude and told me I needed to leave. I explained the situation so she allowed me to continue. Her attitude was so bad I wanted to slap her and I told her so. At 68 years of age it's hard to put up with bad people. I never plan to go back to HEB ever again!

723 H-E-B in Richmond Never again
So, last night at H-E-B on 723 and 1093 in Richmond was something straight out of a sitcom, and trust me, it's a story for the books. Picture this: I'm there, ready for some casual holiday grocery shopping, aiming for burgers and fries, and somehow end up with a $170 bill. I mean, what happened in those aisles?
Now, let me tell you, the whole hustle and bustle of holiday shopping I can handle, but the checkout, oh boy, that was a different story. The girl with pink hair, doing the bagging, was tossing my groceries like she was in some cornhole championship. I asked about my eggs, and her response? A not-so-charming "I don't know." Cue my frustration.
I decided to play detective, sifting through the bags to find my eggs because, clearly, cornhole champion over there didn't care. Turns out, the cashier had them by his side the whole time. This just added fuel to Pink Hair's already delightful attitude, and I couldn't hold back. I told her she had an attitude problem, and the cashier dropped the bomb that it was only her second day. Really? Like that's an excuse for treating customers like they're in a grocery store rodeo.
I suggested telling the manager about her unprofessional behavior, and Pink Hair lost it. We went back and forth, no swearing on my end, just straight facts about her attitude. Then, out of nowhere, she decides she wants to fight me. I mean, seriously? I'm just here for groceries, not a boxing match. So, I make a stance, move my son out of the way just in case, and the show goes on until management finally steps in.
Now, I left the store, but I was so upset that paying for that experience wasn't on my agenda. I turned right back around, returned everything, and despite the apologetic management offering all sorts of things, I'm not going back there. No way I'm feeling unsafe with my kid just to buy groceries. There's another H-E-B on 1463 and Grand Parkway, and plenty of other options if I decide to stick with the company. And that, my friends, was my adventure at H-E-B that I'll be telling at every family gathering.

HEB pharmacy is awful
HEB pharmacy is awful!
I only filled twice with them and that will be the last!
Second time I pulled up to the drive through window 10 min before they opened and the first in line. When they opened the blinds she argued with me that the other lady was there first (which I could care less if I go first) the other lady even told her no she was there first and she argued with her also!!! Unbelievable!
I called to check on my refill next time and they will no longer fill scripts for my dr!
My dr warned me that “they hated her”
Horrible customer service! Do better HEB

Great store Great service
Great service,if lines get to long they open another register. Very helpful and polite staff. There deli roast beef is the best. We also love the HEB sausage. It's 5 min to the mart store or 15 to HEB I'd rather drive. Thank you.

Flour tortillas
I’m always buying flour tortillas from your Lakeway store but lately the quality has not been the same as before. The tortillas are extremely thin and seem like paper. The tortillas are priced higher than the others but for the price I would expect the higher quality that you were providing before.

Customer service in the pharmacy
Customer service in the pharmacy. Went to transfer my family prescription over there. Use my insurance at every pharmacy we have gone. The pharmacist there said it wasn’t an ins card it didn’t cover the meds. I explain and ask why. Walgreens and Walmart takes it. My husband and son needed them dr in Texas prescribe. We just move from Wyoming they wouldn’t take it walked away without them. Going to call insurance and find out why. This is the stupidest thing ever. I wouldn’t recommend the h-e-b pharmacy. Just moved still wouldn’t.

The heb products keep shrinking and prices…
The heb products keep shrinking and prices keep going higher. The latest I wasted money on is heb bathroom tissue. It went from 2 ply to 1 ply and is worthless.
I shopped at heb almost exclusively for 30+ years but now I try to buy very little there due to no sales, poor quality and greed.
