Similar to other reviewers, sound and picture quality is noticeably worse than other platforms. Wanted to binge watch new series of Below Deck. Working perfectly on Netflix, All 4 and Amazon Prime. But when trying them on Hayu, the quality drops and the sound in particular is appalling. It's like they've over-compressed it, perhaps to save their bandwidth and costs.

Subscribed to Hayu solely for my partner to watch Below Deck as an additional subscription in Amazon Video. The video quality seems fine it's the sound, it's awful, it's so compressed. The content NEEDS to be re-DELIVERED to the streaming platform. I AM CANCELING AFTER MY TRIAL!!

The app itself is crap. Frequently gets the wrong episode under Continue Watching, racing to get everything watched so I can cancel

They just cancelled my subscription but continued to charge me twice a month. I reached out to them to resolve the issue only to learn that their customer service is non-existent. After waiting on their reply for a week and never getting it, I called my bank to block them so they couldn't take any more money from me and I won't ever subscribe again. Scammers.

Audio and streaming quality are shocking. My girlfriend noticed immediately and she usually doesn't care about things like that, as long as she can watch her reality TV. Will not be renewing.

0 stars! In fact minus 1000 stars!! I think I have managed to detect the email address for Hendrik McDermott on LinkedIn.com. He is the Director of the thieving GDPR breaching scam artists known and Hayu at NBC Universal. Here’s what I put: Hello Hendrick, Please could you explain why Hayu are taking money from my account? I managed to stop these unauthorised payments last year but since writing to you to get my money and warn you that I will be reporting this as a GDPR breach, you have started taking money again as of 26th February. I don't have access to the email account that I set up my Hayu account with and Hayu are not contactable. Could you explain why the money was taken in the first place and why you ignored my messages including my request for a refund and to update my email address on my Hayu account? You're company is pretty appalling isn't it. Regards“ Doubt I’ll get a reply - probably too busy on a yacht spending all the money they have scammed out of people.... but at least I have vented...
