If I could give this company 1 star I would. Every negative review is correct, they are con artists. They charge you illegally and refuse to refund. I'm taking my complaint to my credit card company for investigation and then seeing what consumer protections we have in the UK to complain too. Looking at just this site and forums these people need shutting down permanently. I wish Amazon would just buy these fools and take it over.

Whoever heads up the technical team at Hayu should be embarrassed - worst streaming service I've ever experienced. Non-stop glitching and when you contact the customer service team they advise you to delete and reinstall the app (not that this actually helps). Only ever seems to work when watching on a mobile device, watching via a TV app is pretty much impossible. It's a shame as the content is actually very good.

The worst provider I’ve come across. They simply don’t value your feedback as a customer or you as a customer. The app is abysmal and I find it particularly insulting that they’d make you sit through trailers for other shows that you can’t forward over when you consider that there is a demand for payment. BBC iPlayer is free and you can skip through theirs. Oh, and they also block out the last few seconds of whatever you’re watching with their incessant adverts for other shows. Hey Hayu, if I wanted to watch other content I’m quite capable of locating it myself without any need for you to ram it down my throat. And, if the show you’re watching has a cliffhanger, forget it. You won’t be able to see it thanks to Hayu and their constant hammering about other shows. All the while making it impossible to watch the show you wanted to. The subtitles are always either a little too fast or a little too slow. In either case, it doesn’t work for those who are hearing impaired and is irritating for those who aren’t. I’ve ended up cancelling my subscription. Update - Hayu have been given four separate opportunities to respond to my complaint. They have used precisely none of these. It continues to amaze me that a company who obtained 89% in one star reviews and only 3% in five star ones, don’t try a smidgen harder not to be complete morons.

Selvom jeg har opsagt mit abonnement har HAYU trukket 49,00 kr. fra min konto hver måned siden september 2020. Det er dybt frusterende, HAYU hverken svarer eller stopper betalingerne efter jeg har klaget. Det er endu mere foruroligende, at så mange oplever lignende problem.

good content - but a tad more expensive than in america for no good reason the most infuriating thing though is that I have purchased hayu app through amazon to watch on my fire devices (£4.99 a month) then amazon wants to charge me again (£4.99 a month) for watching the same content through their amazon video (the only app i can access on my new tv) terrible amazon implementation - and bad on hayu for letting this happen

The most frustrating streaming service ever. Their app and website has always been fairly glitch and not at all user friendly but now has completely stopped working on my Samsung TV. Contested them and they know there is an issue with the app and certain Sumsung models but don't know when it will be fixed. They just suggested I watched another way BUT it won't work through the browser on my TV either nor do they now allow screen mirroring so I can't even play it on through my phone onto the TV so it's actually watchable. It is an absolute joke.
