I despise Hayu with every fibre of my being. Issue after issue after issue. Content is brilliant but they can’t do a single thing right. It’s like it’s run by a load of 5 year olds who have set up an app - issues with billing all the time, technical stuff. I’d be embarrassed to work there, frankly.

I’d rather be giving 0 stars honestly. This is probably the worst streaming service I’ve ever come across. It’s irritating too as a lot of the American programs I like to watch can only be watched where I live via hayu. I had the app for a long time. It constantly tries to get more money out of me, by signing up again nearly every time I sign into the app. There’s stupid advertisements for other shows that come up before the programme you’ve chosen to watch, and you cannot pause them, cancel them, can’t do anything on your phone otherwise your screen and the app with completely freeze. Every time I watch anything it shuts down atleast 3-4 times during that hour. It’s unresponsive most of the time. Or apparently they’re ‘doing works on the app’ so you can’t use it sometimes for days. God knows what ‘work’ they’re doing because things only seem to get worse. I don’t know what I’m paying for sometimes. The worst streaming platform in history.

I signed up for a free, seven day trial and was charged for a month within minutes! Interesting tactic for a channel that features a lot of dishonesty. Also, why is that annoying channel ID in the top, righthand corner? No other streaming service does it.

I have now tried to log on to my account to cancell my subscription numeros times. The autoreply I keep getting is that " there is no such account? So I am unable to log on so that I ABEL, to cancel my subscripion...? ( catch 22)! The Bills keep coming thouh! There is no Phone support at hayu and this nonsence has been going on for mounths! Please help me! / Upset costomer from Sweden!

Hayu are thieves and to be avoided at all costs. Many months ago, following very poor service, we cancelled our subscription with Hayu in the required manner but for months afterwards Hayu continued to charge us via direct debit. They totally ignored repeated requests to stop charging us and refund our money. Our bank (Barclays) appear powerless to do anything to help although this month (October 2021) Barclays did themselves refund the most recent charge. Keep well away from Hayu.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Error messages are consistently appearing, there’s adverts despite the fact it’s a paid service. If you download any shows they don’t work and delete themselves, the app also always logs you out when your trying to watch shows. The audio of every show is fine then starts lagging behind the video and the only way to correct this is by reloading the whole app or webpage and restarting it. These issues have happened to multiple people I know who have a hayu account so clearly this isn’t just my account these are major flaws with their service. The only positive is that they have good shows, but would suggest finding somewhere else to watch them as you won’t get a good viewing service that you would expect from a paid service such as this. I Would definitely not recommend until hayu can sort out their services and app to work correctly and provide the service they claim to offer when you sign up and pay a monthly fee.

Terrible app, it’s always timing out and skipping to the next episode! I also don’t want to watch adverts!!!!! Great shows at least!

Don't waste your money..great shows but since the update ive constantly got an error message popping up every 30 - 60mins saying im signed into too many accounts when not 1 person but myself has my login. You get no help from the support team at all, i even wrote down every single time the error message popped up in 48 hours it was over 20 and asked for a refund and was refused. I did everything they asked to try and fix the problem but it still keeps happening and support is horrible!
