Heritage AuctionsReviews of ha.com

Heritage is really helping me out. I have never consigned before, and Heritage is making it easy for me. I hear they are the best in the business. The personalized attention I am receiving right now from my consignment director, Oscar Camargo, is making the process less intimidating and less stressful. He is treating me with respect, and he actually seems to be enjoying his job...hard to find in today's world! My products will be sent in soon, and I will follow up with a review of the auctions.

I purchased a work of art at an HA auction. On one hand, the administrative process went very well; I requested a deferred payment plan, which was granted and enabled me to buy the piece. That part of the process was handled well. On the other hand, the handling of shipping quotes was abysmal; the costs did not match the estimates shown on the website and turned out to be extremely high. Only after lodging numerous complaints was I able to arrange the shipping myself and save over $2,000 USD.

recently purchased an artwork from Heritage and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The entire process was made easy and managed with the utmost professionalism. The item description was highly accurate: no defects were hidden, and the object was exactly as described. Their customer service is top-notch: they respond incredibly fast and offer full support, truly putting the client first. A special note on shipping: the packaging was extremely careful and secure, delivery was fast, and the cost was truly honest and affordable for international transport. Pure reliability and precision without any complications. Highly recommended, great job!

You’re better off doing an auction on eBay yourself, they’re dismissive and annoying to deal with, some of it was okay but most of it was bs and not worth it

I enjoy and will continue to enjoy using your online auction site. I just really struggle to wrap my head around your fee structure when it comes to cards(trading) and things like images and posters for example. When they are graded, why the heck is the service charge $49. They are in cases and if they aren’t in cases they must have arrived safely packaged in the first place. The difference which is as much or more than double escapes me. Other than being unable to purchase more because of that, I really do enjoy Heritage! My grandfather sold his collection in 08’ I believe and I think you are top notch.

This was my first experience of consigning an item for auction. I contacted Alissa Ford, VP of Western Art, about my piece and she couldn't have been any more helpful and kind. She answered all my questions promptly and patiently. My experience with Heritage went quite smoothly. Necessary paperwork was all online, and I dropped off my piece to a friendly staff member who was expecting it. I was very happy the piece sold well to someone who will no doubt love it, and I look forward to consigning more items in the future! Karen G.

Heritage Auctions reauctioned my Item without telling me. No response to any email i sent since 5 days. They trying to delete my Feedback Here and requesting more Information. NO Communication from Heritage Auctions. They know exactly what they do! No response to any email to multiple different HA Mailboxes. Update June 9th: HA reply is false! There was never any contact by HA to resolve anything ! This is a lie! The exact reply you expect. Just referencing the GTCs. It is just morally wrong but they don‘t care!

Clear and thorough website. Easy procedure both for registering and for bidding. Quick automatic process after bidding, a bit too quick. Frames and frame glasses are shipped uninsured in not very strong cardboard boxes, and mine broke. A stronger box was foreseen for the work on paper. Fortunately Heritage had decided on its own to ship the frame separately from the work. It would have been better if they had told me, as I could have saved the fee for long distance transport of a non-interesting frame. Reactive customer service.
