I provided full proof that I was blocked by the seller within the refund period, yet Gumroad kept sending automated AI replies saying “contact the seller.” Now, they simply ignore my emails — not even a single human response. This platform protects scammers, not creators or customers. I’ve already reported this to FTC and my local bank.

Some of ther worst support I've ever received in my entire life. I keep having bot like responses even though ironically chat GPT would respond better. I randomly had lessons from 2 subscriptions stop sending me lessons despite being charged, the support refuses to help I've never had such poor quality support.

Soy creadora en Gumroad. Antes me pagaban por PayPal sin problemas (tengo pruebas). Desde el 22 de septiembre de 2025 tengo USD 340 retenidos (≈USD 258 netos / 15,000 DOP). El 29 de septiembre me dijeron que “PayPal ya no permite pagos semanales” y se niegan a enviarme un último pago por PayPal, pese a los precedentes. Las alternativas (banco local o Stripe) no funcionan en República Dominicana: el banco no tiene “código de banco” de 3 dígitos y Stripe exige datos de EE. UU. Les escribí el 1 y 2 de octubre y hasta hoy no responden. No volveré a vender allí. Solo exijo que liberen mi dinero por el método que ellos mismos usaron antes (PayPal). Esto me ha causado atrasos reales en pagos locales. Si Gumroad responde y paga, actualizaré esta reseña.

Gumroad used to be a trusty platform, Been using it 6 years now but nowadays it has fallen off pretty bad. They hold my earnings for a couple months now, skipping my payouts with the reason being "Payout was skipped because the account was not compliant." I contacted them for details and guess what, they never answer!
