People complaining about buying scam products aside, the user experience could be a lot better. First of all, the website is borderline unusable for customers of one of the biggest German ISPs "Deutsche Telekom". It won't even load properly without using a VPN or tunnel to bypass the abysmal routing, and downloads crawl along at dialup Internet speeds. Furthermore, the user interface does not really make a difference between sellers and buyers. As a buyer, the only parts of the site I care about are "Discover" and "Library". I do not intend to ever create or sell anything on this platform, yet I have access to all the seller related features which are completely irrelevant and distracting to me.

As my title states Gumroad has worst website UI ever. I have not experienced such a puzzling and mind-boggling experience ever. I am not sure if Gumroad ever reads what creators write on Gumroad threads but they do and they suggest UI experience is horrible. I wonder why I can't read ratings. Nothing happens if you press on ratings at all. For instance, personal assets that I have acquired for some reason just a library. Could it simply be called My Assets or My Asset Library? I always have to guess. I am a creator on the other platforms and there as a creator, I have a dashboard but here on Gumroad main page there is no My Account thing, but instead Dashboard. Why when opened a seller's link to Gumroad I am only connected to a seller's landing page? I cannot go to my account and do things because the landing page is the end of the road. It could go on and on and on, but I have to stop. Many years had passed and there was enough time to make it intuitive and user-friendly. it personally came to a point that whatever assets I bought I wanted to check soon after I leave Gumroad because experience is exhausting and puzzling. I do not wish to overthink my ways and ins and outs when I just want to check something. This ruins everything.

Payed for a product that didn't end up working. Seller refused to help, and there's no way to get a refund through Gumroad.

We have been selling on here for 2 years now, My team, (Business) has now opened a new shop. We used gumroad because of there 7 day payout. We ship every week, For security of our customers and Our team, we don’t want to accept any money until orders have been shipped off. Today is thursday and we have YET to see a payout when they go into transit at 9pm And hits your account 12am (Friday). WE CANNOT SHIP ANYTHING OUT BECAUSE GUMROAD ADDED ANOTHER WEEK for no reason nor warning. we have verified our company etc. Customers pays shipping, and we cannot ship anything out because you guys are holding funds FOR ANOTHER WEEK we don’t want our customers angry !!!!! customers we’re notified through tons of emails that orders ships friday! We don’t want any chargebacks ! WE NEED OUR PAYOUT! HELP PLEASE.

Gumroad misses a lot of features, which would make their platform more user-friendly and overall attractive to potential users. Once your country is eligible for Stripe payouts, you are forced to use this form. You are also forced to have your bank account set up in your country, which is just unreal for a lot of people e.g. digital nomads, full-time travelers. Their customer service can be unhelpful and unfriendly at times. Their "we're here to make money" and "time costs money" attitude towards potential clients is repulsive. With the rise of similar platforms, this attitude and the lack of payout options could mean the end for Gumroad.

Очень часто после продажи я получаю ошибку "обнаружено мошенничество" и клиентам возмещяют платеж. Клиенты тоже жалуются почему они получают возмещение, хотя они этого не требовали.
