GuardsmanReviews of guardsman.com

This is the biggest rip off possible. I purchased it through Steinhafels furniture store in Kenosha, wi. I purchases a leather power sofa and leather power recliner. I have not even had it 8 months and the sofa seat is fading as well as the recliner seat. I went through all the crazy paperwork and attached photos. I heard back from the Guardsman protection plan with I purchased the best one they sell. When I purchased it I was told about how all this stuff was covered and when I heard back from Guardsman they say oh we don't cover that there is always a loop hole so they don't have to fix anything. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!!

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. This company (Guardsman) is garbage!!! I was sold this policy told anything would be covered on a love seat and couch, both leather!!! When i put my claim in for ripped and pealing, which by the way is why i bought the freaking insurance and i asked that precise question and was assured it would cover that!!! Now I’m told some bull crap about the policy code blablabla and its not covered!!! DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS FRAUD COMPANY!!! Claim #12221790

Plush doesn’t abide by its warranty,I purchased a leather lounge and the tanning process is faulty, the company admits it had a problem with the tanning process, but told me the problem was resolved, clearly not.claim number,177296.

Would give no stars do not buy from DFS either as they don't want to know after they sell you cheap settees and dodgy insurance from guardsman hadca settee 6 months noticed a small pull hole in back of 2 seater settee looked at other side same hole same place so phoned guardsman sent pictures etc 6 months later sent me out cushions that are filled not foam what I've paid for cushions are too big don't even fit 3 seater cushion covers separate that don't fit as too small for cushions sent out oh and to top it off bag of buttons to put on myself How's that for service for a £1600 sale won't use again stay away people rang guardsman said I've got to start claim again rang dfs they said not there fault go to guardsman but you know what I hope you're reading this instead I'm going to furniture ombudsman instead

A sham of a company and yet DFS keeps pushing them on unsuspecting customers I purchased a sofa it was bought for my 83 year old mother who has dementia and her home is her safe haven, 2020 Ireland had a strict lockdown the sofa got stained I could not bring anyone in, I was so honest in my application form, now guardsman just emailed me they won’t be attending to fix the sofa but yet they are fast enough to take my hard earned cash, disgusting diabolical company definitely anyone purchasing a sofa STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT HELP BUT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, I have purchased another sofa from DFS they again included the guardsman insurance to which I will be cancelling tomorrow, guardsman think there smart but underneath are the losers as I am one of many who will be cancelling my policy for the new sofa

a Claim was made for Furniture cracking and peeling as per contract this is covered however when we filled a case we were not sure what caused it and have stated that as an honest answer, however such furniture will not starting peeling or cracking without an incident which is understandable to anyone. Guardsman instead of honoring their contract and dealing with this, decided that since client didn't specifically what have caused the cracking and peeling then it is not approved claim. their response was that such peeling and cracking could be not because of incident or accident. my question then what? lol Stay away from this company - biggest crooks

I took guardsman policy when purchased my dining chair and table. Fabric chair got strain by mistake and straight away I put a claim on online portal. Technician came after 10 days and didn’t even try to remove those strain. He just took the pictures and left. Few days after I got a call from customer care that the claim was not granted and the reason they gave me “the stain was there over the period of time and that’s why the claim was refused”. Looks like customer service was given script to read out when giving refusal reason. The lady over the phone was not even listening to me and was kept repeating same lines. Finally I hung up the phone after realising there is no point in arguing with scammers.

It is a scam. Their customer service is shocking. After refusing a legitimate claim, they muck you around for months while you try to cancel and get a refund. Unprofessional. Incompetent. Not fit for purpose. Tardy. The company deserves 0 stars.
