She was great! She listened and encouraged me to make the correct life changes to promote a brighter future for me and my family.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Provider scheduled an appointment and sent a verification, then she stopped communicating, no explanation or anything, wasted 2 appointments which she got paid for and now I have to pay someone else to start all over again, according to grow therapy there is no refund for how unprofessional that is.

None of the UI for the website works. Insurance input didn't accept mine and I had to go through the support team. Multi-choice questions do not accept answers at all. The help section for the website provides instructions that are completely inaccurate. I was instructed by the help section to navigate through multiple menus that didn't exist to input my insurance if the booking page didn't work. As you can imagine, this didn't help me, and because the booking page also didn't work, I wasn't able to book an appointment, which meant I wasn't able to access the expanded menus that only become available after you book an appointment. Going through the support team means going first through a ticket or the AI phone agent. The team doing the tickets is severely understaffed despite having competent members. The AI phone agent is completely worthless in every sense of the word. First, the agent demands that you speak with respect to it despite the fact that it is not a human, which is insulting to begin with. It took me somewhere in the ballpark of 19 tries (and this is not an exaggeration, I did it live with a witness if the company really wants to fight this claim) to get it to have my name spelled correctly despite not having a terribly outstanding name. It then fumbled multiple other verbal inputs to the point that I gave up using the AI and asked for a representative. It then will choose whether to give you a live human or create a ticket. If it creates a ticket, it probably doesn't actually create a ticket but will collect your information as if it was going to anyway. If it wants to give you to a human, first it has to collect your information, and then it will either opt to put you on the call back list or hand you off right away. If you go on the call back list, your fate is the same as if it claimed to make a ticket. The AI will claim that you'll get a call back soon, but in my experience it has no idea when the office hours for the business are. At 3 AM, 6 hours before office hours begin, it said I would get a call back soon. If you get handed to a live human, they are quite good at their jobs and actually do the work, unlike the AI phone agent. This is the only reason the review has 2 stars, because the actual people working are good at their jobs. The rest of the company - the website, and the awful AI phone agent - are hot garbage and actively detrimental to the experience of using the service. Other people who are less determined than I am to get professional help will likely be stopped right at the non functional booking page. The point of providing a service, and then asking for payment for the service from some party involved, is that the service makes the exchange between the parties smoother and more convenient. Having to spend multiple days like this and all of the effort that was involved is far beyond what anyone should have to do when working with a SAAS company, and far beyond what a lot of people who would need the service are capable of doing in the moment.

Grow Therapy offers a wide range of counselors to talk to. The process was easy to set up and get started. We've had great success with the counselor we chose.

I wasn't able to make it to an in-person session today so online session was exactly what I needed!

This was the first time using Grow Therapy, and I had a positive experience. It was easy and convenient to select a therapist. I liked that each therapist had their picture and bio for me to review, so I could choose one that worked for me.
